Master will do just fines, since its accumilated 23 point....if you do bachelors..u get a bit les...but if you have a masters...bachelors in not required ....But if your an engineer, den u mite need your bachelors for professional licensing.....(APEGA,etc...)

Regards,

Ya its true that credential report mentions that bachelors is a pre-requisite for masters degree, however recognization of university or college is also same importance which will not be reflect in the report for the bachelor degree unless to provide the documents. So i feel that both evalution are require.

No one answered does a three year bachelors degree fetch 21 points?

21 points, Only if Canadian equivalency report from WES / Other approved institutes says "bachelors".
If your native Univ is not recognised or course is not recognised, then WES may not grant it equivalent bachelors for Canada.
Anyways, 99% of the times, native bachelors are considered equivalent Canadian bachelors. So relax.

As i am aware of the system,if your Master's done from an accredit University then it should be fine, mine said equivalent to Canadian Masters ....i had the very same query regarding WES..he looked at it and said...Since u wouldn't have got an admission in the first place if your degree was not up to the mark or standard of the university...SO its not an issue,Masters would suffice the criteria of 23 Points.

Kind Regards

In Schedule 3 form question 11

ًthere are 3 fields for prrof of fund

asset
liabillities
settelment funds

which box should i use to add the amount of proof of fund. i have only 17K in my bank account.

should i use box one (asset) or three (settelment funds )

Fill the asset (unencumbered funds you have).
Fill the liabilities (money you owe others, all loans)

The Assets - Liabilities will give you Net Settlement funds.

So in your case it will be
assets - CAD 17K
liabillities - NIL (Assuming nil loans)
settelment funds - CAD 17K

They (WES) may say it takes a month, but usually happens within 20 days. Do you have the attested credentials sealed envelope from your university ? this actually takes a longer time usually. Regarding the NOC, select the one closest in terms of your job descriptions / responsibilities rather than job titles. You are the best judge to decide as it is your work experience.

Thanx CanOl,

I attested my credentials and sealed inside envelope and courier to WES.

My question here is : for Electronics engineer there is bachelor level requirement and for Electronics engineering technologist there is intermediate or diploma level requirement,,,, so will it effect in CANADA if I make different experience details to match NOC (for better chance)and apply for FSW and a different experience certificate (a more detailed job description that may include job not defined in NOC) to apply for job in CANADA ?

Congrats and +1 for giving the good news.

Thanks for your reply.

I was looking at WES requirements and I found that Medical University is recognized university in their list.

Other thing here in Pakistan, all sonographers are doctors, it is not like happen to have experience of sonography.

Well, I have queried them and lets see what is their response.

[size=9pt] Hi, Okay, this is interesting to learn. :)

My question back to you is, do you think CIC will pass a doctor in a sonographer category just because one gets a matching duties in their reference letter. Isn't there a different doctor NOC for this very reason - just because let's say a doctor did sonography in early days they can't qualify as a sonographer, is my take.

However it would be nice to learn, if I may be wrong on this one so please do update me if this person gets a PER and a PR. I am only using my limited knowledge here so by no means I claim to be an expert. ;D

PS - I think you have done the right thing by contacting WES, so wait for their reply. Unfortunately there is no one on the SS with this NOC so you can't check with anyone there. Good luck! :)

In my opinion, should be OK as long as there is no major change in job description or the 2 details are not contradictory to each other.

However as per yesterdays post by Ashif, CIC might check facebook, linkedin, other job search profiles for CVs of the candidates and may reject applications if major differences are found. So for the moment, would advice you to keep same experience details for CIC and job searches. Later once you get the PR you are free to make whatever changes you want to.

Guys, is there any way to know who awards the +1 / -1 ?

8) 8) 8) 8) 8) 8) 8) 8) 8) 8)

Thanks Century. On the positive side, I was down with viral fever so could not have celebrated it earlier anyway. The shackles have also started to loosen already :P :P and my nose getting excited to breathe fresh Canadian air :P :P

Thanks Oscar7. +1 back to you (subject to Karma thingy) ;D ;D

Thanks PK563. I think PER emails sent by CIO in wholesale caught consultants unprepared. I also read about a case where one fellow did not receive any PER, however, on enquiry to CIO, his file was already transferred to VO :). Seems PER emails might also slip through cracks in CIO processing.

As rare as that may be, it is good news.

+1

[size=9pt] Hi, Haha good question - if it would be that strict 30% here might have a hard time finding a job in Canada. So no, that wouldn't matter dear!!! Enjoy!!! :) Immigration and Post-Immigration Job in Canada are unrelated for the most part.

Thanx Oscar7, the only reason I am looking forward for technologist category is that the complete application till date is too low[so as to be on safe side]. Anyway I need to decide soon.

Hello Dear Members of this great forum !!

Logged in after a long time to inform that CC has been charged today at 19:58 IST :). Application was received on 15-May under NOC 1112.

In fact I am more nervous now after reading some recent mails that there are possibilities of NER too even after the payment charge. Anyways, God has brought this day and He is the best one to decide. Hope to receive the PER soon. Trying to update the SS.

Regards

Congrats GUR2010

THANKS CanOI .BEST OF LUCK
