i wonder why cic is working on the may 15 applicants without barely touching the may 14 applications. what happen? i thought it's a FIFO process.... :'( :'(

I read below economic times article and I am now worried about the credit card payment.. Does anybody has idea whether CIC transaction can be affected due to this new restriction or not..?

The article is not very clear as it mention that this new rule will specifically cover the overseas payment gateways.. but not very clear if it is only applicable to transactions in INR or also for foreign currency transactions..!!! Request some banking guy to clarify this matter..

Who told u its FIFO processing??? only acceptance on an app is on first come first serve basis, different NOC's are assigned to different teams. Each team has its own speed & backlog. Sometime 3-4 dates of apps are being processed at the same time, it all depends on speed the assigned team.

Earlier, as apps for each day were high, this timing difference was less visible as each dates app received reduces it will become more apparent. Nonetheless, once CIC reaches near CAP completion they will be charging according to app received to ensure acceptance as per FCFS, as cap limits are far away, they have the liberty to process them as per the convenience.

So relax, ur turn will come soon.

Shah2014 what you have suggested makes sense but it's only an assumption as know one knows how CIC operates apart from CIC ;D

This is all in the Document Checklist. You've read it, right?

I know all has mentioned in the Checklist. What I meant is that he (ashif_eee) provided the list is in required order and a revised manner. Doesn't it help to check in a glance? Anyway, it is not wise to disgrace ones' efforts to help others.

Thank you Ashif. Need to repack the whole set. I think I should get following points confirmed from you guys as well.

1. In main form IMM 0008 I mentioned my current occupation as Senior Business Analyst, IT and Intended occupation as Systems Analyst, IT. Hope this is okay, right?

2. In form IMM 0008_ 3e Experience section 12. b) I have three job title for my 4 years experiences- Business Analyst, Team Coordinator, Sr. Business Analyst. I mentioned these three titles as occupation in section 12. b) (NOC code 2171 for all). Then from these three, I mentioned Business Analyst, IT (NOC 2171) in section 12 a) . Is it okay?

3. I was in Business Analyst position for 8 months before promoting to Team Coordinator. As 0008_3e form has recently been changed on 21st August 2014, I mentioned that as 1 year experience. There is no option to select if you have less than one year exp. in one position in the new form. Is that okay.?

I am reviewing again. I may come back later. Please give me some feedback on above points. Thank you in advance.
