guys while i'm preparing the file. can i collect each group of documents with a sticky note to make it more easier for the officer or just keep all papers without any seprator or even blank paper as per the instruction

Don't use staples, though!
Use paper clips or binder clips to hold your application together. When CIC gets an application they drill a hole in the upper left hand corner of the documents and insert a fastener to hold the application together. It frustrates them to have to remove a bunch of staples, so make it easy on these people. You're trying to impress them.

[size=9pt] Sticky note is a good idea. I did that too! Don't really need any separator but nobody stops one from using. Instead I too used paper clips - and lots of it.

I used a couple of paperclips and an elastic band to hold the whole pack together

Don't be stressed about old version vs new version in this case!

They aligned the form with the eligibility chart...No box to tick not only if you have less than 1 year of experience but also if you have more than 3 but less than 4 years of experience or more than 5 but less than 6 years of experience!.. My gut feel is that the form was revised to make it easier for 'grading' and does not materially change how the number of points are calculated based on number of years of experience. All the other revised forms in August are to reflect the change in law for the age of dependents going down from 21 to 19. Again, no new information requested. So, I wouldn't worry if you used old versions of these forms (assuming you have no dependents between the ages of 19 and 21 of course!) and sent your application in August. Just make sure you use the new forms going forward....

If the description and list of main duties match what you did at your last job(s), you can count this experience for points.
Use this chart to find the number of points based on your number of years of experience.

Experience Maximum 15 points
1 year 9
2-3 years 11
4-5 years 13
6 or more years 15

should i combine the whole??

Have 3 Years work experience - 12 points
Age - 24 - 11 Points
B.Tech - 3 Year - 21 points

Total - 44 points
Required at least 23 in IELTS to make 67.

a. WES - To be sent on 1st September,2014
Question : I did my schooling from India and studied 10+2 , post which I did B.Tech (4 years). For ECA - Wes I am aware of sending Photocopies of Marksheet, Degree and Transcripts to be issued from College sealed envelope. However, my college won't send it to WES on its own, so I have thought of sending College sealed transcript and photocopy of marksheets and degree on my own , but in two separate Envelopes.

I hope this won't be an issue ?

Is it necessary for me to send 10th , 10+2 Certificates to WES for Evaluation too ?

b. IELTS - Scheduled on Oct 18,2014
Result Expected by First week of Novemeber.

I am planning to hire a consultant in the meanwhile, and keep my documents and forms ready to be filled and sent to CIC. As soon as I receive IELTS score, if I get desired, then will send the application. I hope it won't be too late for NOC 2171.

Just an opinion sometimes gives the right amount of motivation required to believe in yourself.

If you worked for one company and had three different positions with the same company, just list that company and tick 6+ years....

Yes forms are right...

U can write "Home Maker" if u r not on employment anymore....And for the last ques u can write the NOC title u are intending to apply...

You get 11 points not 12 for 3 years work experience, but for age you get 12 not 11 points...check the CIC website. http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/skilled/apply-factors.asp

Tick it as one year.....since somebody may have six months in one company on NOC2133 while he is applying under NOC2174.....Then what he can write? He has only one option to tick it on "One Year" field....

It should not have any issue....

If you are not working (and not going back to your former employer under your contract), write 'Unemployed.' If you are on maternity leave, write 'On maternity leave.' Don't write homemaker/housewife. You're not going to Canada to be a homemaker!

Sorry, the situation is even worse ....... even if u r sending ur app tomorrow and have a chance to send for NOC other than 2174, do so

CIC cap update 313 as of 18th August by tht time SS shows 94 PER, which means SS represents 30% .......... this representation includes PER received on 18th (last CAP update), some of which wud have been received after CAP update time (it was early morning) .... i assumed tht CIC knew how many they are going to send on 18th, otherwise situation is even worse.

Total apps sent till date as per SS are 323, if we keep SS representation of global apps as constant at 30% means already more than 1,076 apps have been sent

P.S: ADMINS, specially dimitrych kindly adjust the CAP estimate date formula so tht it only includes PERs received before (could be entered later) CAP update date.......... currently it uses PER received till date vs CIC numbers of older date......... it leads to over estimation of SS representation and longer CAP fill date.

P.P.S: Oscar, Century, Ashif_eee, Kollins, Dimtrych ....... am i missing something???? i have recently started analyzing the SS

Not a true indicator, as

1. Last yr only 1 comp category was open, while this year 3-4 alternates are available ........... as most of the comp sc guys transition from one role to another, they have multiple options
2. 2013 opened after a gap, so there was rush of applicants
3. after initial 500-600 apps (2013 wud have hit the cap long ago) flow has reduced significantly

P.S: As Oscar7 has Crystal Ball for near future events, our friend Dimtrych has one for distant future, which says tht u shud be safe if ur app reaches before November
