Dear Friends,

I want your help regarding PCC, I have collected 3 PCCs... but I am afraid that CIC may not accept it because of their issuance date:

1. PCC from Country A was issued May 6, 2014
2. PCC from Country B was issued on June 8, 2014
3. PCC from USA was issued on October 24, 2013


I will send the PCCs to the embassy next week.... Which of the above will be accepted?

If u have not travelled to these countries after getting Pcc done , respectively

Hi,

Ppl have suggest to gett PCC from punjab as my permanent adress,passport adress, passport office,adress on apllication forms is of PUNJAB.

Moreover getting PCC from punjab is as below

"For residents of the Punjab:
Only the Senior Superintendent of Police or the Regional Passport Office may sign a Police Clearance Certificate."

But I currently live in Harayana,and I will have to mention this adress in backgorung form.

Is it mandatory to fill current adress in residential adress column in IM0008 or I can fill my punjab permanent adress as correspondence and tick "YES" column in residential as SAME AS MAILING ADDRESS

My passport issuing office is HYD and I applied for PCC from HYD .. may be that is the reason Physical police verification is waived off.. In your case, you may have to face Physical police verfication.. however, it wont take much long event though it passes through Physical police verification because Passport Seva Kendra have strict timelines to close the case within SLA

Hi,
What if the currnent residential address and the address in passport are different but both the addresses are within same PSK area.
Will they issue the PCC sameday or do the background verification?
If background verification is required how many days would it take for it?
I am planning to apply for PCC next week and my PSK is Hyderabad.

So far have not seen any CC charge other than 14th May and PERs issued till 12th May

Any CC for 15th May?

Of course. 2 CC charges have been reported (shehpar and friend of auto_art) today for 15th May date of delivery.

Should I start now or I would be in cap in the end of next month ?
