Photocopies not required to be notarized, If you are from India, getting documents notarized is cheap so might as well go ahead. If its about saving time then don't. For sure get your documents (not in English) notarized and translated.

I have a question regarding the passport xerox copies.
I was told by my friend to take xerox copies of all the pages in my passport and get them notarized. Do we need to notarize all the pages or just the printed pages?

Hi Guys,
My wife's secondary school certificate does not have her parent's name. I have sent middle (class 8 ) certificate along with, which has her father's name and mentioned it in cover letter. What are my chances of getting though or my application will be rejected. I saw someone has been rejected for sending higher secondary certificate at birth proof, yesterday.

You have to submit either of the following
1) Birth certificate with applicant name and both parents name mentioned
or
2) Secondary school certificate / marks list with applicant name and both parents name mentioned. Also self affidavit stating why cant you provide birth certificate
or
3) Get an notarized affidavit from your parents stating that you are his and her son/daughter. Also self affidavit stating why cant you provide birth certificate

After delhi2173 it should be following whose app reached by 5th or 6th May and PER received in June... Now as per delhi2173's case it is clear that NDVO is not going to send AOR this year.. So all of below guys.. cross your fingers to get the MR/PCC in next 2-3 weeks... After that it will be one month at least for 7th May guys.. ... I am 8th May applicant so expecting my MR Inshallah sometime in October... ;D ;D

Since, you have been staying in HAR. for last 3 years.. I believe its the same add you have filled in your Background/ Appln Forms.
IMO..the VO might take an objection if the add mentioned on your PCC is not of HAR as this is the most recent 3 yrs 8)

I would suggest you post query on "FSW 2013- Lets network" thread for better perspective from those who have already pass that stage 8)

You can refer Document checklist form for your question

Passports or travel documents for you, your spouse or common law partner and your dependent children. Include only copies of pages showing:
- the passport number,
- date of issue and expiry,
- the photo, name, date and place of birth,
- pages showing any amendments in name, date of birth, expiration etc

taking copies of all blank pages in the passport are not required. Just take copies which are required as mentioned above. Notarizing copies is upto you. I have notarized them for safe side from notary public in Hyderabad.

[size=9pt] Yeah, one day cost us one month - not sure if I would be able to forgive myself for this ever....lol (kidding)

I can only hope NDVO can make up for some of that lost time, by delivering quicker than anticipated on May 7th cases ???

I have already forgiven myself because I had a reason to send my application on 3rd May.. I was completing my 10 years on 3rd May therefore to avoid the reference letter from my past companies that I could not get I waited till 3rd May although I was ready with all the documents before 1st May and my file even could have reached on 1st May...

Please take your time .. atleast 1 month to forgive yourself
