Please help!!!!!!!!!!!!
Brother Oscar & Century had already provided some lights on this before a month or so. However, still confused about communication channel.

How can we update the local visa office about any change in our file? Mine is NDVO. Because email communication is very poor. They take so much time in responding.
And there is a link where case specific inquiry form is available where we have to provide our details regarding any update. But even after that the same query. it will reach to email communication and that would not be the quick.

If I talk about my case, once my file gets transferred to NDVO, i have to inform them about new passport for me & my wife.
Our old passports were valid but both of our passport were carrying the name of before our marriage.
For example my wife was having her full name & surname of before marriage. And in my passport the spouse section was blank.

Now the pain area for me is that how i will inform NDVO that my old passport is no more valid and we have new passport, and in a way the name for my spouse in the application will also change.

Also, it is a matter of worry that should I send the hard copy of updated passport to NDVO, if yes then how (to which address/addressing what exactly)?
Also, as the name of my spouse is now of after her marraige and the app form is having her signature and name of her older passport which was her name before marriage. then will I be asked for updated forms?

Guys please help. This is killing me and making me nervous. I am the FSW 2014 applicant. And can expect PER in a month or so.

All you have to do is wait for communication from NDVO.

So, what you can do is wait for AOR and update them with new info. or
incase if you don't receive AOR then just send then email them your new detail along with a copy of PER email and a cover letter. Soft copy will do. Email them at
DELHI-IMMIGRATION @ international.gc.ca (But on website it says it not available due to technical issue.
Check source link: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/offices/missions/new-delhi.asp

You can update them regarding New Passport even at the time of PPR request.

P.S.: As far as I know they will ask you to submit valid passport detail at the time of MR & RPRF.

better don't update ur passports now, this can cause a delay in ur processing as u might then have to submit supporting docs. if u r making a new pp then u just have to submit its attested copy to ur VO else don't indulge in this hassle. let ur case finalizes, get visa, leave for Canada and then do the changes. I believe it wont gona hurt ur case.

hope this might help. experts pls advice.

Thank you abhi228 and farhaantariq, for ur valuable suggestions.. :)
+1

Thanks Goku,
Yes as per the MR request email they have asked for current/valid passport. (as per the content posted on our forum by one of our friend)
But the issue is, My wife's current passport is having my name associated (name after marraige) and in the application form its the name before marraige. If I send just the valid passport although with the explaination with some cover letter, then also wont they ask for anything else.

And above all this, i have provided the PCC already for both me & my wife and that is also according to old passport number, detail, name.
Not sure whether they will ask new PCC which should have detail of new passport.
So much confused..... :(

[size=9pt] Naah, you are safe. Don't worry!!!! :)

It could be either and that is why before your post I modified to say 10th certificate rather than pass certificate. mark sheet is fine!!

Thanks Oscar, +1 for this relief :D

That should be ok. Nothing to worry. When asked Just provide an explanation letter(why names are different) + copies of old passport (first + Last + Cancelled stamp page) + copies of new passport. Just because PCC is based old passport it should be a problem. If they have got any issue regarding PCC then they will request PCC again. But I don't think they will request another PCC.

For all birth certificate related queries please refer to the answer by David Cohen :

I am an Indian national. I do not have a birth certificate, because there were no provisions for this at the time of my birth. What sort of documentation can I provide to satisfy immigration authorities in lieu of a birth certificate?

Citizenship and Immigration Canada will accept secondary, matriculation, or school leaving certificates as proof of birth. This is provided they have the following: your full name, your date of birth, and the name of your mother, father, or both.
