your file has long time to go on table of case officer. I think it should be fine if your have few years of work exp and not just 1 year.

Hi frnds..need ur advice regarding birth certificate of spouse...im main applicant.. My spouse birth certificate hv her first name only , fathers full name , mothers first name only along with her dob and place of birth... Will there be any problemcoz she dont hv her surname on certificate and her mother also do nt hv surname on birth certificate...

If you had applied before and have your UCI number then you can try sending the fresh letters with working hours added. also make sure about NOC duties. If no UCI, then no point of sending, most likely it will not reach to your file.

Hi, I urgently need some help please. I posted yesterday that my application had been returned due to insufficient evidence of job duties performed for the NOC code. I am trying to re-write the letter for a colleague/supervisor to give a personal statement but I am myself having trouble matching the job description. My confusion is that under 2171 the list of job descriptions it lists a brief description for 4 fairly different job titles.
Main duties

The following is a summary of the main duties for some occupations in this unit group:
•Information systems business analysts and consultants confer with clients to identify and document requirements, conduct business and technical studies, design, develop, integrate and implement information systems business solutions, and provide advice on information systems strategy, policy, management, security and service delivery.
•Systems security analysts confer with clients to identify and document requirements, assess physical and technical security risks to data, software and hardware, and develop policies, procedures and contingency plans to minimize the effects of security breaches.
•Information systems quality assurance analysts develop and implement policies and procedures throughout the software development life cycle to maximize the efficiency, effectiveness and overall quality of software products and information systems.
•Systems auditors conduct independent third-party reviews to assess quality assurance practices, software products and information systems.

My current job title is Account Manager and this is the description that was in the letter that was returned. (I should add that the letter was originally written last year for 2147 which was my job from 2004 to 2011. I wasn't concentrating on matching the Account Manager role to the NOC.

I thought there was enough in there to correspond but obviously the CIC officer does not agree. Can anyone make any suggestions please?

This is a scary because I have applied for same NOC and have provided following brief job description:

- Collaborate with project leaders and teams / network within the business to discuss/understand project requirements and translate these into system process solutions
- Develop company’s Business Information Solutions using the standards defined for solutions work to meet Group business objectives.
- Maintain and report on project plan/progress as required

My job title is Systems Analyst.

I think my application is at a risk of being returned as well.

Enough about myself. In your case I seriously find it difficult to conclude how your role is Information systems analyst / consultant type of role.

I sent my application because role description matched fairly well with description below given on CIC's website:

Account manager title isn't given no their list I think and your role sounds more like that of a sales person and manager than of a consultant / analyst.

Since you are the main applicant there should not be any issue.

But if you haven't sent your app yet, pls make an affidavit with full details. Since you have time why to take chance for few bucks.

reference letters which I have submitted do not state my working hours/full time employee.

@veterans and the experienced/knowledgeable souls,

I have the same question. Most Indian experience letters just state 'so and so' is or was a 'Regular employee' bearing so and so emp id and was employed from so and so date and his/her role and responsibilities were so and so.

They say that the proof of the pudding lies in the eating. Is there anyone who had such a letter and is around to regale us with a success story???

Oh, yes, I read the email again and found the DD was encashed on July 16th. I missed it when I first read the PER email.

So, would you be able to update the status for me?

Yes you can use that UCI. If fee in encashed you will be able to see your ECAS.
