Hi, I am new to this community. I have been gathering all the required documents and finally am about to submit my application package to CIC. I am planning to submit my application under the NOC 2174. I wanted to check if it is too late to submit under this category as the number of applications in this category is 313 today and am not sure how many applications are still pending at their desks. Is it advisable to submit under this category at this time?

Your NOC is hot but I would suggest you apply unless of coz you qualify in another less hot NOC, then you might need to consider that one.

It took me 5 seconds to realize that I was not looking at a NOC Code when I saw the number 1421 in the CIC website today.

I think it would be safe to say that for the top 6 NOCs, the luxury of resubmitting the application may not be there in the future, should the initial application be rejected, for the applicants on or after July 2014, simply because either the CAP will be complete or we may run into January 2015 when EOI begins.

Until then - eat PRAY sleep REPEAT!

Wow !!!
What an update by CIC. Bad news for people in HOT NOCs, might not get chance of re-application.
Till last update spreadsheet was 24% of total PERs (216/887); which has taken a dive and is 20% now (285/1421), which is even worse for Hot NOC applicants.

one thing that surprise me is the footnote.....The number of complete federal skilled worker applications received since May 4, 2014 is an estimate.

what does that means does this means that application number is till 4th May , 2014 applications.
