Hi, I have a query regarding CC payment.I am from India. I have SBI Gold card. The card is secured with PIN. So, i should provide PIN and CVV , both numbers to CIC?

And also, will CIC be able to charge my fees from SBI GOLD CARD?

I am a first time user of CC. Thats why asking a basic question.

[size=9pt] Dear, Without a work exp. reference letter you can't move forward with FSW. Time to get innovative in obtaining a reference letter from a senior in the organizations on plain A4 paper. Please read my post to LHR a few minutes ago. Cheers! :)

Noted. thanks dear.

Any Idea?

Hi All,

For proof of funds, Initially As I need to submit a bank certificate Can I show one Dollar account with half amount and one Local Currency Account for the rest of the amount? The total will amount to CAD15000. Further if I am showing amounts in 2 different accounts (but the same bank) do I need 2 separate certificates for each account?

Later when a 6 months bank statement will be required by VO at that time if I show the total amount in only one account (either dollar or local) by converting dollars to PKR or converting PKR to dollars, will it create any issues?

[size=9pt] Hi, If I were you I would not be doing a first time experiment of my CC on my CIC application knowing very well how dangerous CCs can be in India. I would get a six month validity DD made from HDFC, ICICI or Axis Banks.

But if you must use the CC just fill the payment form as asked. They won't need PIN to make the payment. Enjoy! :)

Thanks for the reply. Actually, I have already sent one application and planning to send another at the end of Sept. I used DD only in first app. Now, I am planing to use CC, just to ensure that if my first application gets selected , i can block my card for second app. and get it rejected. But, I know it is risky and eventually, will go for DD only.

Which highschool diploma you are mentioning about?

hi,
I'm referring to our secondary school, not tertiary. Do we need to give them a copy of our school certificate?

Seniors, Pls advise...

I'm about to send out my application package. Which courier to go for? I'm choosing between DHL and FedEx, which one is faster and more reliable?? Thx....

[size=9pt] Hopefully you are not inviting trouble by trying to be over-smart (is my worry)! But seems playing with fire gets you the thrills LOL so entirely up to you mate! ;)

True.... But definitely decided to go for DD and letting it get charged even though first has given a PER. Ideally, a cost of 60K should not come in between.

Thanks.

[size=9pt] Well, your choice seems to be between 3rd best and 2nd best for Sydney, NS area deliveries so go for the latter. :P

Thx..

One final question regarding generic form IMM0008. I don't have a UCI and expiry date for my National ID card. Do u just think I should leave them blank or put N/A in the fields after I printed? Some ppl said this form has validation, should them as it is and should not write N/A after printing. Pls advise.

if you are from India then u don't have a national ID, passport is different!!! UCI is only from previous fillings! :D
