i doubt what you are saying. you can go to nearest police station for this but you should have marriage cert.

I am a 15th May applicant from INDIA. I am doing my PR procedure own my own without any consultant's help. When I came to know from our network that 15th May applicants may be charged shortly, I just started enquiry about my future PCC. In my enquiry, I came to know that to issue the PCC, my passport needs to be completed in all manners i.e. if I am married, my Spouse's name should be compulsory included in my passport otherwise my PCC procedure will be incomplete during police inquiry. And since I am married, I had to rush to re-issue the passport and fortunately got my new passport which shows my wife's name.

But now I am confused because as I have not received PER e-mail, how can I contact CIC to let them know about my new passport details? I am in dilemma, should I wait for my PER or should I directly e-mail CIC to inform my new passport details? If so, then on which e-mail ID should I communicate this? Should I also send mail by courier by sending them certified copies of my cancelled passport & new passport?
I am eagerly awaiting for the sure suggestion from anybody who can shed some light on this subject.

may 8th applicant NOC 2174....still waiting for PER.....I m getting confused now! bank is not responding to give any info abt DD status. how long it will take at cio? they are still processing may 6 and 7 cases!

They have started processing PER's for 9th May applicants as well. You may hearing from them soon!

CIO is is a recognized body and not an online merchant. Most of the banks don't require pin when CIO charges your card.
So don't worry!

Guys, Who else used CC from NCB Bank (Saudi Arabia) Mastercard.

Does CIC requires the MASTERCARD SECURE CODE (diff from CCV code at the back of the CC)

Everytime I use my CC to purchase something on the internet. it requires additional Code which is the Mastercard Secure Code.

or CCV will do?

I used the same card too, and had raised in question.. everyone told me to relax, it will definitely work without the Secure Code.

I have a situation and i need answers. I have workrked in uae for past 10 years. I have moved four comapnies. The initial comapny where i worked from 2004 -2008 is ready to give me experience letters with job responsibility(which makes me eligible under two NOC's). Rest of the organisations are not supportive and are only willing to give salary certificates. I worked as manager marketing in these organisations. Am i good to go with the initial company's job reference letter and for other companies i can give salary certificates and contract copies.

Can i have some reply to my query. Please.

1) if you have worked 40 hrs/week or more then it would be one year since CIC considers 30hrs/week is equivalent to full time work
2)generally last three months is recommended if not available you can submit those of anytime. ( if you do not have any, no problem since these are not mandatory)
3)It is recommended to keep these funds into your account throughout the process. However ,three of my friends submitted one month old bank statement with initial application and got PR. Luckily , they were not asked by VO to submit updated statement later on. but in my case I have deposited required funds in my account and have planned to keep till the process.
4)If you have submit it along with the application since it is not a mandatory document too.
5) Job description letter is must to evaluate what exactly did you do with reference to NOC in order to claim points for that work experience. If you are unable to get it too then write why is it unavailable in the cover letter and submit whatever documents available to prove your experience on this particular occupation.
6) One year from the date of FSW 2014 commencement. i.e May 01,2014

my friend, not in this forum filled under some 2xxx series from UK on 14th May got his PER!!!

@maym99... Are you sure about the receipt date (14th May) of your friend's application?? ...

This is now becoming more and more mysterious...14th May applicant getting PER, 20th May applicants getting rejected!! ... Let us wait for more data points to conclude anything.

Hi all

After a long delay I finally got my application returned from CIC. The letter date is 2 July and it arrived on Saturday. The reason for rejection is that there is insufficient evidence that the job duties required under 2171 were performed as set out in the employer letter.

This is not a huge surprise as my reference letter from my employer was provided last year for 2147. As that noc code is not open I applied under 2171. My job title is Account Manager which is definitely 2171 however I wasn't able to get a revised letter. The problem I had was my employer does not give detailed reference letters and I lied and said I needed a job duties letter for an MSC application. That somehow worked and I listed all my jobs and duties at that employer (since 2001) including Service Delivery Manager, Service Delivery Engineer, Network Engineer, Sales Engineer and now Account Manager.

As I've said, the vast majority of my experience is 2147 but I currently work under 2171. I also have experience of 2281 but I moved from Service Delivery in September 2004 so I believe that experience is too old??

Does anyone have any suggestions on how to move forward? I read something on here previously about self attested duties- is that just for self employed people? Any suggestions gratefully received.

Hi,

I have a question. Mu ocupation is editor-in-chief. NOC number is 0512. This occupation is under skill type A in 0 cstructure. In NOC rules they mention in section "Classified elsewhere" occupation can be classified as Senior managers - trade, broadcasting and other services, n.e.c. (0015)

The question is: Should I mark my occupation as 0512 or 0015 NOC number? Am I eligibile if I write NOC 0512?
