This is about the May 20th applicants payment rejection case:

I am also a May 20th applicant.
I have an UCI number (previous visa).
I've just checked my application through ecas,
This is what I got:
"We were not able to identify you using the information you provided"
SO CIC did not even tried to charge me.

Best of luck to all who are waiting.
Cheers

@ rlewis

We have forum Spread Sheet, it has all these estimates......... u can find link in some previous post (some members have it as their signature --- last line of each msg)

Thanks for the info Shah2014, i checked the estimated cap date for NOC 2171 as 12/17/2014. I hope the spreadsheet does not show large variation of more than a month, if that's the case, then maybe i stand a chance to apply for it. Should i go for it, incase i get declined to cap limit reached, will i be refunded the application amount back?

@ Bahramzp

No issues, but u need his/her signature of Payment FOrm

Better use DD with 6 months validity (preferably issued by ur bank via local canadian bank rather than canadian branch of international bank)

issues with CC include, transaction denied due to over limit or restriction (imposed in future before fee encashment) on FX transaction, loss of card, sudden change of card by the bank etc etc........

Thanks bro
Unfortunately i have sent my application month a go and i am stressed if cic return my application due to a problem in CC and payment. May i send them Money order instead now? I have deposit the cic amount in my friend's CC since one month a go.

What should we write under "intended occupation" in the form? The NOC name we are applying to?

What if it is not likely we will find a job easier on the NOC there. For example, I am applying as a purchasing manager but I doubt I will find a manager job as I get to canada. Analyst would be fine since no one knows me there yet.

[size=9pt] Hi Maria, Checks and / or Interview happen on a need basis at NDVO or other VOs, so less percentage only. Good luck! :)

"Additional Dependants/Declaration Form (IMM 0008DEP) -
Who must fill out this application form?

This form must be completed by:

You, the principal applicant, on behalf of each of your dependants not included in the Generic Application Form for Canada (IMM 0008)."

If I already mentioned my spouse, which is the only dependant I have and will be coming with me in the Generic form, should I just forget about this Additional Dependants/Declaration Form?

Is MBA considered to be: Trade school or other post secondary school?

Or should I put my MBA years undes University/college as well?

Oscar, I'm confused. Should I put my MBA years under "University / College" or "trade school or other post secondary school" ?

[size=9pt] Is masters degree, definitely not trade school. It is post secondary school as well as post bachelors degree.

Yes, under University / College sounds good

PS - Partner Shah you can also delete that last post which has my question captured LOL

Great. What would be other post secondary school for example?

Dear Fellows,

My Qualification is Bachelors of Science in Civil Engineering and Master of Science in Civil Engineering.

My Job Title for 3 out of 4 jobs was 'Planning Engineer' while for 1 job it was 'Assistant Executive Engineer (Civil)'. My job descriptions are more or less same as given on HRSDC website for civil engineers while both mentioned job titles are not there among the example titles given for civil engineers (2131).

Can I use above mentioned job titles of 'Planning Engineer' and 'Assistant Executive Engineer (Civil)' or CIC will only accept given title on HRSDC?

Best Regards,

Rizwan Ali

@ nskatcv,

You have posted a picture with instructions on how to fold a paper. Here are a few responses / queries that you'll probably get on this forum for that post:

I) OMG, I didn't fold the paper like that. Will I be rejected? nskatcv please advice!

II) OMG, I forgot to fold the paper altogether. Will I be rejected? Seniors, bhais (whatever that is) please advice!

When no response is received within 2 minutes of the post, the post will be repeated several times

III) OMG, I didn't include the paper at all. Will I be rejected? nskatcv, seniors, bhais, Elvis Presley please advice!!!

IV) Here's another post that can be expected: nskatcv, this is not related to your how one should fold a paper post. However, I do have a question for you, nskatcv. My wife has a moustache. Will that make me ineligible? nskatcv, please, please advice!

SMH ;D

This is hilarious! ;D

Hello,

I have an urgent question here, I have just got the PER and file number from CIC, but I have some information that I wrote wrong by mistake in the forms regarding my travels and other small changes.

how can I submit the form "your travels" again and how can I send these changes to CIC?

Is there an email to contact them or should I send them by courier or shall I wait till an officer contacts me????

I am afraid to wait for an officer , and the officer contacts me after he finished assessment of my case and so this will cause my case to be assessed again or to be delayed...

please help

That's a good news for lot of members as well

Per on its way... Congrats
Same thing in my case.. Only status showed as "no records were found" until yesterday on ECAS, and today it shows as Inprocess with last year's UCI. I haven't received PER yet!! I am May 12th applicant.

In one of the forms you are asked to list your occupations within the last 10 preceding years and to include their NOC. Should you mention the ones that have nothing to do with the federal skilled worker NOCs as well? Or only the ones related to the NOCs they are accepting?

For example should I mention being a material analyst if that is not in the list of admission for this year?
