Hi,
I just sent my docs for FSWP for the 2174 category. It says on the cic webpage that the number of complete application received till now is 197, which means that till today's date only 197 applications have been considered as completed?. If the page is updated once a week that means that they usually take around 1 week to check completeness of an application and if it is completed they update it on the website the next week.

please correct me if I am wrong ?

Also my application was received by CIC on 11th august, is there a chance that it will make through the cap?

Not really. There are many untouched 2174 applications residing on the shelves in CIC now. CIC is currently processing applications received by mid May. Following applications are still in the drawers.

And yes, most probably your application will make it before the cap is reached.

Relax you have PER, my app got there on 26th May and they have only started on 14th May today. At CIC's slow rate I will be luck to get PER by December

It has all the info which comes to birth certificate. I am having hard luck to locate my birth certificate.

Passport is not recommended as a proof of birth (weird, but that is what it is).

Other than that, people have been seen to submit school certificates bearing one's name, parent(s) name and date of birth of course.

I am new to this forum though I had applied last year too but with minimal knowledge so my app got rejected due to incomplete docs. I am trying to understand the stats on the FSWP complete Applications webpage. Does anyone have any idea on when did the 2174 cap got filled last year?. Also if the numbers get updated once a week, that means the cic is still reading apps from may and updating it in august per week?.

Although on the top it says that its just a guide not completely accurate but where does it say that they are reading apps from May?. Is this based on the assumption that because people from may got their ccs charged recently?. It might also be the case that the credit card is charged really late and not just after the app is assumed to be complete?.

My docs reached CIC on August 12 and I am really tensed if the apps from May alone have gone upto to 197 for my noc (2174). Is there a chance I will make the cap?.

Dear friends,

One important question concerning my career. I am on the course of applying to the FSW currently, just waiting for my IELTS and ECA reports so as to send the application to CIC. Currently I am in India. I am having opportunity to work in Dubai.
So Once I complete and send the application from India, will I have to stay back in India for any reason?
Will it be OK for me to travel to Dubai and work there for a while as my application gets processed?
Is it gonna affect my application or chances in any way that I am not present in the country after the application?

Kindly provide your advice as I am in a dilemma and cant decide on this as I have already invested considerable amount of time and dreams on FSW and cant afford to mess it up in any way :-X

Thanks.. My school LC is in local language & they denied to translate or issue english version. what option i have for this ?

yes it contains all info..not sure why it is not acceptable as suggested by nskatcv.
