09th-July : DD Payment : DD from TD-Bank (Toronto Branch)
12th-July : ECAS status 'in process'. First time applicant : got the UCI from the help desk phone number agent (you have to try 3 to 4 times to get the right agent).
13th-Aug : PER (Case Officer - SL )

Visa Office : CPC-Ottawa
NOC: 2174 (FSW1)


Even though I came to know about this forum, after I sent my application, it has been a great place to hang out with all other friends and to read about other applicant's background, struggle, victories, mishaps and sometimes funny, silly doubts and answers.

Thanks all for the great help :-*, and all the best for others who are waiting for PER and CC/DD charge .

CC: 7th of July
PER: 13th of August

NOTE: I found the email in the "junk" folder in Yahoo mail, so please check yours if you are waiting for it.

Hello guys, need some help with the Payment form.

My spouse is the Principal applicant and we are paying by CC.
We have same residential address but on my CC the address is different.
So in Section A of the form where it says:

"Address of payer (if different from principal applicant");

Should I fill the address on CC or leave it blank. Just very confused. Is the exact address on CC needed by CIC to make the charge ??

Don't want to give CIC an idea of two addresses for the case.
Please suggest.

Address for CC is just formality, give same as what u mention in rest of form, no blank

sorry but what address? In the form there is only card holder name, cc number, expire date and 3 digit code are requiredm no need for billing address. Am i right?

As my application reached on 12th June, does my application fall under 197 or will it be eligible only after completeness check and when I recieve the PER?

No.. That is the no. of PER's which have been issued for around 50 % of 7th May applicants

Well, I think, in case of CC only the address field of form becomes relevant because the DD is complete in itself (with Payee bank having its address on DD)...
So in case of CC, if Principal is not the payer, "Name of payer" field is filled and below comes the address of payer.

My original confusion was, whether the address needs to be filled if the Payer is part of the application and only has a different address on the CC.

Frankly speaking we need to keep patience and relax.

I got my CC charged at 13th June and after 2 months i.e. 13th August got PER which is really a long waiting time for PER.

May be its for cold Noc 4011 hence they delayed.

Suggestion to all to add "Centralized-Intake-Office@cic.gc.ca" to your mail contacts so the PER email does not go to SPAM or Junk Folder.

Hi,
I just sent my docs for FSWP for the 2174 category. It says on the cic webpage that the number of complete application received till now is 197, which means that till today's date only 197 applications have been considered as completed?. If the page is updated once a week that means that they usually take around 1 week to check completeness of an application and if it is completed they update it on the website the next week.

please correct me if I am wrong ?

Also my application was received by CIC on 11th august, is there a chance that it will make through the cap?
