Dear Friends,

I am claiming points on my previous work experience for which I have obtained experience letters on company letter head. Although I have mentioned current job title/company name/duties but not submitting experience letter or claiming points etc.

Would that be an issue if I am not submitting current job exp letter?

IMP: I only submitted the reference letters from last two companies and salary slip and experience letter from my current organisation.

My Experience with CIC: CIC has no defined rules for processing applications and its more of fate with them. They might reject a application for no reason and sometimes they give a second chance to the candidate to submit remaining docs in laster stage.

I'm a June 4th applicant from Egypt. I had my police certificates issued on May 12th, however it states that it is only valid for 3 months. So does this mean I'll get rejected because it has already expired for one day now, and by the time it's my turn several months?

No problem. Police certificates are optional in the original application. The Cairo Visa Office will ask you for an updated police certificate when your file reaches there.

You are talking about a very unlikely possibility. In theory, yes, there is a possibility that everybody is wrong with understanding the rules, CIC's website is wrong with not mentioning the aggregation they apply to the language score, and many applicants were wrongly sent their PER's even though their score which was exactly on the 67 border was calculated based on an over estimated language score.

But how possible is this scenario? I think it is almost impossible

On the contrary, take a look at the spreadsheet that the forum members here have developed. Enumerating the application rejection reasons that applicants have encountered, you can easily find that sometimes CIC actually makes calculation mistakes. Sometimes, an application is rejected because a document is deemed missing although the applicant confirms that they have sent this document within the application.

Bottom line is; calculation mistakes happen and documents are sometimes overlooked. This explains it.

This shouldn't affect your application, as PCC isn't a compulsion at this stage . However a fresh one may be requested before your final landing in Canada

I have one doubt related to PCC, experts please advice.
Applied as FSW in May 2014, along with application I have sent PCC (Validity 6 Sept 2013 to 5 Sept 2014).
And I again applied for PCC in June 2014 and got it on spot (Validity 3 June 2014 to 2 June 2015).
My question is, If CIC request for new PCC. Can I send them PCC that was issued in June 2014.
Or I need to apply for fresh one?

The Important thing is that PCC sent along with application will suffice at this point, you will be advised accordingly by CIC if new PCC is required before your landing in Canada
