Hi Seniors,

At this pace CIC will take one year just to complete May applicants :(
Any idea from previous years whether PER speed will pick up ?

With God's grace, I finally received PER today after a very long wait. For everyone who's still waiting, I wish you the best of luck!

It's still a long way ahead for most of us here, but our spirits are high! God willing, whatever happens now, will be for the best :-)

PS: I've already updated the sheet

Was apprehensive , because people who are charged CC long after me received PER. So buddies, PER is not in order of CC/DD charge date.. People who did'nt receive PER do not loose hope.

Hi Friends,

Let me tell you a case. I had been blessed with a baby on 9th May, but already prepared my application so submitted through courier on 11th May without mentioning her due to following reason.

Her name was not decided,
no official documents for birth notification was issued,
no passport / identity.

Now I am worried if there is any issue that VO will ask that why I didnt mention her in my application. You advise please on how to notify them or will there be any impact on my application?

I think the days of worrying are already over. I mean having a baby and submitting an immigration application in the same week must have been worrisome for you.

My personal opinion is that this isn't a big issue. You can always apprise the Visa officer when he/she communicates with you at a later date, and provide with the baby's documents that you can prepare in the meantime.

Regards

Hi,

I need some clarification about deposited settlement fund. I have deposited required amount at a time to my account and have been maintained till now. However, I have not moved those amount and have planned to maintain throughout the process. My question here is do I need to keep that amount constant or should I withdraw some and balance again in order to show transaction history ?

In my opinion, there should be no problem to withdraw or deposit (in case you really need it), if it is your running/checking/savings account. It is understandable that one might need money every now and time. Try not to withdraw large amounts, and especially not going below the settlement funds threshold.

I updated the spreadsheet but I think I might have done it wrong and made a duplicate entry. When I clicked my personalized link my information was not filled in and I had to enter everything again. Sorry if I screwed that up and can the admins fix it if needed.

BEST WISHES FOR ALL STILL WAITING!

Congratulations future Canadian....
+1 for this news ...i am happy for you...

in my opinion you could leave it constant. Most of us have FD done for the amount and hence its not really needed for one to show a transaction history to the funds
