Thanks a lot for your suggestion, I can get his birth certificate but passport may take time, all my documents PCC, employment certificates will be old.So planning to apply ASAP.

Well ! if you are from India then you can go for tatkal passport service under which passport comes to your house on second day else enquire your country's passport office process for urgent passport issue

As per application guide
In order to receive points for all of the jobs you have had over the past ten years, yourwork experience must be in one or more occupations listed in Skill Type 0, Skill Level A or B of NOC 2011. Follow the Determining your NOC category instructions above to find the NOC 2011 category that matches your skilled work experience over the past ten years

You will have to provide reference letters and other supporting documents for such jobs.

So by example if i have 1.5 years of experience in 0121 NOC in last 10 years and 4.5 years in different NOC code than i will be getting
15 points for experience???

So, it means that in past years all DD's were charged before 6 months passed and there were no applications rejected because of expired drafts?

It would be really sad to receive back a rejected application if CIC decides to review my application in more than 6 months when my DD expires.

We still don't have any experiences of charging after 6 month. If 6-month DD expired, it is headache of CIO - don't bother about it.

We received our PER mail. In 2 months from now we are expecting the AOR mail from out Visa Office.

And we want to add a newborn baby to our our application.

What documents we need to add and what forms we need fill ?

I have sent my application to CIC by UPS. UPS is supposed to deliver the shipment today but their site suddenly saying that "UPS is holding the shipment" in their Lachine, QC, Canada warehourse. Also the scheduled delevery date has changed to "Scheduled delivery information is not available at this time. Please check back later". Some blogs say that this status comes up if customs has stopeed the package, this is making me nervous. Called up UPS customer care and they say its on schedule but something seems to be wrong when I check the status online. UPS customer care executive even asked me to ignore the status online.

As anyone faced this issue earlier?

I Have applied in 2009 in FSW ON NOC 9212 -And Application was rejected due to insufficient points.65 POINTS.

Now , I am planning to resend application in next week in NOC 2232 . Almost all documents is ready.

I am working in BAHRAIN . My question is only regarding WORK Experience letter of past.

I have work experience on company letter head ready from 2009 to till date as per NOC 2232. But as per my last application from 2000 to 2009 company job description letters are missing and now there is no possible for me to go there and get letter head as 02 past companies is not working.


so can I go with self affidavit with it. or no need to provide job description letter ( 6 or more years only required to achieve 15 points) , all other documents such as offer letters,resign letters are with me with all company but job duties mentioned as per 9212 on letter head missing.

And one more problem regarding Birth Place,

1. I Have issued passport in 2004 at that time documents required for it was licence copy,leaving certificate, education proof, light bill, phone bill, Resan card Xerox etc . so my birth place was written in my School leaving country was XXX. dist. shahda ,state maharashtra

And my original birth certificate showing yyy . dist- shada state maharashta...


In summery in PASSPORT , IN Birth certificate both area is different. so what to do ? or nothing to do ? IN IMM 008 all details I have written as per my passport.

You need to communicate with your VO about what documents are required, they will tell you.

Minimum documents could be:
1. Passport
2. Birth Certificate
3. Photos (6 copies)
4. Payment DD (CAD 150)
5 Updated forms

Well, you seems to be right. Your application might be held by customs, it is still 7am in Montreal, they should release it today and it will reach tomorrow. From Lachine to Sydney, it is surface transport with a halt at Dieppe, NB.
But nothing to worry, customs in Montreal check random applications and release them mostly same day.

yes, if delay is on UPS part. But, If it is held by Customs then it depends on the claim officer of your area.

not second day mate...even under tatkal's scheme you receive it after 1 week based on my experience....
