Why car is not an asset ?

I'm not a finance guy but I'm pretty sure that a car that belongs to you is an asset....only it can't be shown as settlement funds...

Funds have to be LIQUID a car is pretty solid ;D

If u have enough point already with the current ECA then Yes u have to write all the educational details on there....

We are seeing message from saurabh1 that his application was rejected because he did not send ECA for Masters and hopefully he sent for bachelors.
And the reason is missing ECA. So do you have any knowledge about the past applicants having a higher degree (For instance masters) but submitted ECA for Bachelors; filled up forms with highest education as masters and still got PER/DD encashed?

Why cant you show a SBI PPF as POF ???

Irrespective of the lock-in.. if the account is old... one can withdraw "50% of preceding 3 yrs Closing balance" in a given year.
So it can be shown as POF.. only thing is for your estimation of POF.. count only of 50% of the balance (To be on safe side).. should be top-up for any shortfall you're having for POF from FD's, Savings a/c etc.

can we deposit cash in savings account (around 1.5 L, it already has about 5 L in it, salary a/c) and then take statement next day! is that fine?

also, I had already taken statement of one bank yesterday, now after depositing cash in 2nd account and taking statement, should I take statement of 1st bank again to show I haven't taken cash out from that account...!! ??? this POF is driving me nuts!!

The SBI PF a/c has a lock in period of 15 years and funds are not in liquid form and not readily available.These cannot shown as settlement funds.it is better to use savings or FD accounts and tale a balance certificate from bank.

Could you please share the screenshot of how you are searching the ECAS as mine file reached on 9th.
It still says unable to indetify ? Not sure whether i'am entering the details correctly.
