agreed but when we are matching our job duties with a certain NOC den its quite simple that we will also match the educational requirements that are mentioned in NOC ...

it makes sense as a class 10 pass candidate doing the duties mentioned in a certain noc doesnot make him / her eligible under the skilled category even if he has a vast experience. atleast your educational qualification should be somewhat near to whats mentioned over there in NOC otherwise CIC wouldnot have referred to match the jd associated with the specified NOC

I may be wrong in my assumptions and my seniors may correct me as well but what i felt the logic can be this that i think and wrote that only.

As far as I know a high school graduate also qualifies if he manages to gets minimum 67 points out of 100. Technically, CIC cannot reject his application based on the fact that he has less education and is working on higher position. But they might look at educational requirement if they found that experience is fake. Lets say for instance a high school graduate performing same duties as CA within 3 years of joining that company and claiming experience using those duties. I am mot saying that it is not possible but CIC might investigate more into it and if they are not satisfied they give a reason of not having minimum education to perform the work they are performing and that's why they are rejecting their file OR lets say he has bachelors degree in Accounting and claims that he is working as senior IT specialist from past 3 years; at that time they look at educational requirement. But they don't look at it every time. I have came across few cases like that.

Hi friends,

I cleared my IELTS , ECA is in process and rest of the documents are in place but only problems is POF. So, I don't have any savings till date in my bank A/c. I have to dilute my shares, insurance(do I need to liquidate it to liquid cash) and then deposit them in bank a/c so the time span wont fulfill the 3months time.
Bank statement any standard format?
my question is does this works or chance of refusal and moreover I have Home on my name which I purchase in 2007 with Home loan so can I show that?
I have Employee provident fund of around 6 lakhs but not in standard format just annual slips.
Employee Provident fund can be show as POF if yes then how it should be shown, any standard format?

Seniors Members please suggest what to do.

thanks in advance.

you started a thread with this question, I answered you in that thread.

Good luck.

Your share is acceptable as well as PF.

Provide share statement + certificate from broker house in their letter head.

PF: Your pay slip should include PF. Get a letter from HR about your PF amount till now including accrued interest.

Insurance: Insurance premium statement (if you have)+ a letter from insurance company the current surrender value. The surrender value is your POF.

Home:It is your assets and not POF. Give full value of home.
Home Loan: Unpaid total loan amount.

Hello bro.. I have read this helpful link before.. many thanks for this.. However would like you to correct step 4: Eligibility Review a little:
It Mentions:
Note: CIC will update your ECAS to show that your Eligibility Review at CIO is complete. The status will be “Centralized Intake Office Sydney (CIO-S) ELIGIBILITY REVIEW COMPLETE”

Its not the case. The ECAS remains the same as in step 3 after this step.

And +1 for this page.
Hi Friends... this is very useful information.. After reading the blog, I have a question. Does CIC refund application fee in case of NER (negative eligibility review)???

You don't need to sell it. For your mental peacefulness, if you sell, what I suggest, provide the sell statement provided by broker house, deposit the money in bank, and provide the bank statement. It shows, you have not borrowed.

documents that show property or capital payable to you (such as stocks, bonds, debentures, treasury bills, etc.) or

I do not think one will get fees back if it's NER. since, that fee is an application process fee. If anyone's application is rejected for other reasons(cap reached, in-sufficient documentation etc...) then they will refund the fees.

According to OP6c, they will refund for NER. After PER, no refund.
http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/resources/manuals/op/op06c-eng.pdf

9. Procedure: Assessing the application against Ministerial Instructions

If the application is determined to be eligible for processing, the applicant will be informed. Once
the CIO has made a positive eligibility determination, processing has begun and processing fees
are no longer refundable.

If the application is determined to be ineligible for processing, the applicant will be informed and will receive a refund of processing fees. The application will not be returned..

 If the application does not meet all the criteria of applicable Ministerial Instructions, then the CIO will make a final negative determination of eligibility for processing and:
o record the outcome and reasons in GCMS;
o initiate a refund of processing fees; and
o inform the applicant (see Appendix A for sample letter).
The application will not be returned to the applicant.
