i have a query related to the expiry of IELTS....

after reading the forum and going through the post of a fellow member who said " file returned due to expiry of IELTS"

i would like to reconfirm from all our members that IELTS score is valid for 2 years and if your application reached CIC before the expiry date den you are fine ( as the score may expire by the time CIC opens and reviews your case)

moreover its also written in the document check list that the " IELTS" score shall not me more than 2 years when you submit your application @ CIC.

so now the question is how safe can we consider ourselves to be if score expires before CIC opens a case for review?

I'm in the same position, my IELTS will likely expire before CIC opens my case... Did anybody manage to successfully get visa in the same situation - when IELTS expired after it was received by CIO, but before CIC opens case and processes fee? Thank you!

As soon as your application is arrived at CIC, they stamp on your app a 'locking date'. When they open your app for processing, they compare your IELTS expiry date with the 'locking date'. This is what I understand.

I completed my fee payment form including other forms on
20th July. My application is due for submission today just
to discover that there is a new fee payment form. Although
my dependents are just my spouse and my child who is 1
year old. will my application be rejected since I used the old
fee payment form.

I thought so too, but there are some people who received back their rejected applications in the same situation... I would like to know if this is a regular system or just one sad case.

I wonder if there is any way to find out the VO where file has been sent. We wrote in form VO Moscow as it was mentioned on website (May 7 applicant). Then on July 2 they changed it on their website to Warsaw, later on July 29 we got PER. And now guessing has our file been sent to Moscow or Warsaw. Any guesses where to write to ask about this? Or is it pointless? Does Warsaw send AOR?

den its arrives at a strange conclusion that y was a fellow forum members file returned with the reason citing - Application returned due to expiry of IELTS..

anyways hope that they check in at the locking date ( as specified by you and the same has been mentioned @ document check list)which will save trouble for a lot of people

Thank you! So they change VO themselves despite the fact that we mentioned in forms Moscow (because at that time it was Moscow), right? I wonder if something like this happened before.

P.S. I am sister but that's ok)
