Need your advice please.

My application for 2174 reached on May 2nd and received the UCI on 6th June but I haven't received the medical request yet, I can see in the sheet that other NOC applications who's application reached on 5th or 6th May got the medical call for same visa visa office i.e London so what is going on, are they processing application's NOC wise ? do any body else in 2174 received the medical request

The applicants who sent their application as early as the second week since the program opening and still have not heard anything from CIO, is able to carry on with their daily lives without panicking only because of the congratulations .

Just imagine No congratulations = No timeline of CC charge+ No timeline of PER received .

Since I joined this forum , I have read more than 2500 pages. Does that make me a jobless person ? I bet not!

This forum is not only about questions and answers. Its much much bigger than that. Its a thousand dreams and emotions being shared amongst people who might have never met each other.

Buddy it was a unexpected and exceptional case from London VO (ECAS updated: We started processing your application on July 24, 2014.)....Their current processing avg time is one yr (as per FSW13)....


And also this times are varied depending on the case officers and individual files complexities (like family members/ no. of employment etc....

So wait for ur turn....

Addendum to our previous assumption of DD being safe

There are 2 types of International DD (Needless to say that DD should have 6 month validity)

1. DD drawn on one of Canada's Local Bank [SAFEST OPTION]
2. DD drawn on one of Canadian branch of International Bank [better than CC, but still NOT SAFEST]

ONLY DD # 1 (just like Biwi # 1) is SAFE i.e. DD drawn on one of Canada's Local Bank. Make sure you get a DD DD drawn on one of Canada's Local Bank. If your local bank/agent offer's DD drawn on one of Canadian branch of International Bank DONT TAKE IT. SAY NO TO SUCH DD's to remain healthy and TENSION FREE!

The issue with DD # 2 is that International Bank may decide to close their Nostro in Canada and decide to cancel ur DD if its not encashed within 2-3 months.

P.S: Lot of text is repetitive to emphasis the matter.

I'm in the same position, my IELTS will likely expire before CIC opens my case... Did anybody manage to successfully get visa in the same situation - when IELTS expired after it was received by CIO, but before CIC opens case and processes fee? Thank you!

How long a DD takes to be encashed my file reached on 12 may at 12:38 and DD is from HDFC India..its still outstanding.. I am tenssed.. Please help

Our Timeline is same... However my code is 3142.... I guess u should wait till Thursday and then enquire with the bank regarding the status of the dd. If no reply from them then send a mail to cic regarding the status of ur application

Need Info on USA Police Clearance

I have heard it takes 2 to 3 months, I am a 12th May applicant CC charged on 30th July. I have two questions.

1. Can I apply for USA PCC as it might take 2 - 3 months to avoid delay in processing my application.
2. What form should I download from FBI site for PCC

Ya start process as soon as
U have to get FBI clearance and state Pcc (in which state you were in States)

Hi Captain_Prince,
I don't see anybody from London VO got Medical Request. There are few file transfer and a processing start application. Have patience, your AOR will arrive soon.

BTW, I can't find you in SS, are you listed or not ?

Please dont misguide people. He needs to get FBI clearance and not state clearance unless until requested which is very rare.
