Hi All,

Small Query, if we want to get more 5 point of our spouse then our spouse need to score CLB level 4 in IELTS. right.

Now query is that - did they changed CLB level 4,s bands this year ?

Before it was L-4.5, R-3.5. W-4, S-4 or similar..
But this year they changed it to 5 Band in each, IS IT CORRECT ??

hi, I think there must be strange.in 2013 there are two cases just like you.
1 @ tomsware his application was received on May 16th,2013, his IELTS was expired on June 12th,2013, fee encashed on July 16th,2013,he got PER on July 25th,2013.
2 @ kencreech he was unfortunate, his application was received on may 14th,2013, CIC mailed him on July 7th,2013 that he did not submit educational document with ECA AND his IELTS has been expired even though he claimed expiry was 9th July.
so, you'd better ask for some details from them.No matter what the final ending is ,I believe you will be fine.

CIO told me over phone that my file has been returned because of IELTS expiry. I am yet to receive my file back. Probably I will get it within this week. Once I have my file in my hand, I would be in a better position to talk to these guys. Till then, I will prepare for my upcoming IELTS :D

CLB5 is for Principal applicant, if he/she wants to claim points for second language. for spouse it is CLB4.

The applicants who sent their application as early as the second week since the program opening and still have not heard anything from CIO, is able to carry on with their daily lives without panicking only because of the congratulations .

Just imagine No congratulations = No timeline of CC charge+ No timeline of PER received .

Since I joined this forum , I have read more than 2500 pages. Does that make me a jobless person ? I bet not!

This forum is not only about questions and answers. Its much much bigger than that. Its a thousand dreams and emotions being shared amongst people who might have never met each other.

Nope. Spouse doesnt need 5 band in each.
Here is the requirement.

Spouse/partner's official language (CLB4)
Speaking/Listening/Reading/Writing
IELTS 4.0/4.5/3.5/4.0

Dear Seniors

Request for advice. My spouse's birth certificate has her parent's name at the time of her birth. Since then, they changed their names through a notary affidavit, advt in newspapers and publishing in state gazette.
New names are used in her passport too.
I have a copy of the advt and gazette notification but the notary original was submitted to the government and no copy was made.

Can I attach the advt copies, gazette notification and explain the case to CIC while submitting the application? or how should I go about it?

many thanks,

Any advice pls?

thanks

Hi Susan:

As things are under you control, get the full-time and working hour written. It will give you peace of mind.

If HR don't want to revise it, try to get a experience letter that you are working with this company as a full-time employee YY horus per week form period X to period Y.

Even the option 2 don't work, ensure providing joining and promotion letter. That will clearly indicate you are full-time employee.

Best of luck.
