My application got rejected for not providing Proof of a completed foreign educational credential along with ECA. I provided the ECA but didn't provide the degree certificate. I have to resubmit my application quickly. I have a few questions regarding the reapplication.

1 - When they returned my application, there was a UCI number filled in it. Can I reuse the UCI number.
2 - I applied under the 2174 category. Is there still a chance of getting through in that category.
3 - Is there any other category which is similar to 2174.
4 - I'm applying from USA. Which is the best Visa Immigration Office to apply to. I initially applied with Sydney, Nova Scotia.
5 - Which is the best way to send application. UPS or Fedex. What options should I choose for Delivery Confirmation.

congrats to all who received PER/Medical/AOR and cc/dd charged!

Have a question to May 9th and earlier who has UCI and has cc charged or dd encashed already, anybody here who still gets nothing in ECAS? I'm a little freaked out that I still come up nothing, 2 of May 9, 2174 NOC and same time as me got status already there.

I am a May 9th applicant, DD charged on 24th Jul and ECAS updated on 31st July!

Guys,

I realize that there is no Nostradamus amongst us but I do need to figure out what chances I have if I reapply this year?

I would be able to prepare and send a package by September end. My NOC 2171 already has 157 entries in the spreadsheet. Assuming the spreadsheet to represent about 10% applicants, 1000 applications would have been reached by now. If we assume the spreadsheet to represent a lower percentage (2,3,5..), 1000 applications would have reached by June end itself.

Would it be worthwhile to take IELTS by going into some far off city (to be able to prepare my application in time) and taking all the pain of packing the application again? Or, if this is a battle lost, would it be wise to prepare for Express Entry?

Kindly advise.

Dear All,

I am in-process to send my appilcation,
Near to my location DHL & fedex is avaialbe, (UPS is quite far from my place & they dont work on weekend, so i cant take leave from office too.)
which one to choose ? ( earlier i was with DHL, but once read all bad reviews about that, i am in doubt)

I sent my application thru DHL on 5th May and it was recd on 9th May. I had to do a very close follow up (with DHL company and not the vendor) to ensure that package is delivered in time. Had to escalate this to DHL folks.

what i have done was put the relevant codes and in the roles section ..I have written please find attached sheet.

and then jot down all the duties of the reference letter on the attached sheet . I have put that sheet just after the relevant form.

3. YES, why not!! It is best time for it. Even we are advising ppl to apply for 2173 rather than 2174. Please go ahead at the earliest.
There is no idea of express entry to anyone. Try your luck this time.
