Permit me to differ from the above submissions.

The OP can apply as principal applicant without his family members once he so desire. He must however ensure he has the proof of settlement fund covering all his non-accompanying family members.

If he has a cogent reason such as he has stated,he's permitted. The major thing is to state expressly on his form the family members that are likely to join him later.

He can pay the single applicant fee of CAD$550.

Agree, but one nitpick. He can't apply "without his family members," he can list them as non-accompanying.

Do you think that the Local VO will recalculate your application points, once they receive the application from NS? Sometimes the applicant may get additional points or lose points by the time the VO study your application !!! Any hints here guys Huh

I have received PER and my self calculated points is at margin = 68 and since I am 35ys, I will lose points per age

Brother your age is locked when CIO received your application. So, if you are now 18 and if VO takes 30 years to process, to their eyes, you are still 18 and not 48 years old old-man. ;D ;D ;D ;D

And From where did you get this information that "YOU CAN DO" this??? If you want to save few hundred dollars then actually you are wasting your money for IELTS, ECA and Courier... Your file will be returned to you with your CAD550 to you... No need to double check with anybody.. I am 200% sure... [/size]

If he listed his dependants as non-accompanying he only has to pay the fee for himself. Hopefully he did this.

If you are 200% sure about something but still 100% wrong, does that calculate to triple the font size?

As long as you get experiences in last 10 years, it will be counted. Long break is not a matter. Whether you will get 9 or 11 points, it depends on matching your roles and responsibilities along with proper documents.

An applicant can send multiple applications in multiple NOCs - no issue. Just add a cover letter mentioning the reason for 2nd application. For your information, if your 1st application accepted, for 2nd application, the 1st one will not be rejected.

I am worrying that whether I can gain points of this exp. or not? If yes I can claim 2 more points then can I send new application package without waiting for my spouse IELTS TRF. Plz reply

This position is not accurate please. Non-accompanying family members is a different position from incomplete fees paid. He still needs to include the family and make provision for them for the application fee and in proof of settlement funds. However, he is free to make his choice on the issue, cheers.

Hi Seniors,
My daughter is just 20 days old.I am writing a covering letter to CIC explaining that I will be submitting her Passport at the Local VO and not attached with the application.
I have her birth certificate attached to the forms.
I have included her in the POF and visa processing fees.
But taking a photo of her is a real challenge. Anyway I had managed to take one but since her neck is not stable my hand holding her is unavoidable in the photo.
So I photoshopped to have only her face in the picture. But it is very obvious in the photo that it is modified.
Shall I present the same with my application?
Please advice.

NO! You CANNOT submit retouched and modified photos with your application.

Anyway, how did you photoshop, when the pictures should have been taken at a place that processes passport/visa photos?

Your only option is to get a professional picture taken. I faced the same issue when I got passports for my children just after their births. By holding under the neck with a few fingers extended along the back of the head it is possible to keep the head upright. A good photo store employee should also be able to offer you assistance as they are experienced with this.
