Dear All,
I am thinking of submitting another application as in my 1st application my company had mentioned my duties in a very concise & generic manner which resulted in 20-30% matching with NOC 2132 description.
Below are the duties i have prepared to achieve 70-80% matching. Also due to change in HR policy i will not be able to get them on company letterhead, so i will be getting getting these signed by my senior on plain sheet with his visiting card.
Duties for NOC 2132 (Mechanical Engineer)
• Perform research & evaluation of design, operation and performance of tyres & automobiles, focusing on influence of tyre design & operating conditions on vehicle vibrations, acoustics & vehicle road-handling behaviour
• Design, development & evaluation of tyres using 2D modelling softwares such as AutoCAD, Draftsight & their physical testing using TMSI, B&K & Racelogic systems
• Measurement and subsequent analysis of vehicle dynamics & tyre mechanics.
• Measurement and analysis of noise & vibrations (NVH) in mechanical systems and structures such as tyres & vehicles using Bruel & Kjaer Data acquisition System in cruising & coast-down conditions & subsequent sound quality assessment.
• Planning and management of projects involving tyre design evaluation & optimization, determining time & material (tyres & vehicles) requirements and followed by releasing of results in form of presentations & reports.
• Tyre testing at Onlevel machine for parameters such as tyre cornering properties, rolling resistance, pull forces & force non-uniformity in accordance with SAE (Society of Automotive Engineers), ISO (International Organization for Standardization), GMW (General Motors Worldwide)& JASO (Japanese Automotive Standard Organization) Standards.
• Creating maintenance & calibration schedules and procedures for Onlevel machine. Also development of checklists, standards & instructions for maintenance & calibration teams.
• Identification & investigation of mechanical and software failures at Onlevel machine followed by troubleshooting & problem rectification to get the machine back in running condition.
• Vehicle objective handling testing to measure & analyze performance parameters such as acceleration, braking & handling.
• Preparation and releasing tyre & vehicle testing procedures and standards
• Preparation of NVH and Onlevel reports, design & calculation review reports & design suggestions
• Tyre noise modelling & simulation using TNM for product evaluation in design phase to achieve a optimized tyre design meeting performance targets set by Automobile manufacturers & regulatory requirements.
• Supervision & training of other graduate engineers and technicians
• Preparing equipment procurement documents & Annual Maintenance contracts for TMSI and B&K systems
• Currently working on Modal analysis of tyres to understand their dynamic response under vibrational excitation.
I understand above duties are pretty long, so should i shorten them??
Need some suggestions brothers
