14th May is the last loaded day for CIC.
As per the SS it has around 75 applicant from forum only.
However after that, each date not even crossing 40.
Hence, we can expect quite faster date changes in processing after 14th May slot get cleared.

@ Ananjay,

Did you got intimation that CIO has "included" your 'Additional Documents' (4th July) with your initial submission (12th May).
If it is accepted than you were not pushed back in the queue ... as you're charged in 25th Jul which is in-line with other 12 th May Applicants getting charged.

Could you pls look into it.

Can you confirm what additional document you send and what was the procedure.....thanks in advance.

Thanks Century. I am relieved now.........

No brother, only financial planner part is suffice. None should be expected to cover all those other occupations.

"Financial planners develop personal financial plans for clients covering cash management, finances, insurance coverage, investments, retirement and estate planning, taxes and legal matters; analyze clients' financial records, set goals and develop a financial strategy; advise clients on implementing the financial plan to help them achieve their goals; may also arrange for the purchase and sale of financial products and investments depending on the licence held, and monitor the portfolio to ensure its quality and profitability; and help to expand business and attract new clients."

Hi,

One more query please. I have 3 family members; wife and 2 daughters. However, I don't want to process their visa now. I am applying for myself. Do I need to show funds for all the members even if I am not applying visa for them. I guess we need to mention all their details even if
I am not applying visa for them.

Please help.

Thank you.

Guys,

When I take the "self-assessment" tool from CIC for FSW, I get "not eligible". But, I receive 72 points when I calculate manually.

Age 29 - 12 points
My IELTS score is CLB9 qualifying for 24 points.
4 years experience - 13 points
Education Master's - 23 points

Total 72.

Should I go ahead with the application ignoring the CIC tool?

Thank you!

[size=9pt] Century, Were you in forums last year?

No, last year I was not in any forum - I did not have any idea of such thing.

After my file was reached CIO, I checked in the CIC site and found only around 12 received - I was damn sure I made into cap easily.

After not hearing for months after months, I suspected something wrong and then discover FSW 2013. Looking at the spreadsheet, I was speechless and at that time it was meaningless to join.

you have to give reason why they are not accompanying you to canada, reason should be solid. yes you have to mention there names in additional family information form and generic form.

Dear Century,

Would you mind to answer following queries?

1. Do we need to send the Original Reference letter?
2. For how long period, we should show the Bank Statement?

Regards

1. Do we need to send the Original Reference letter? Not require. But for your current company, I think, you can request two copies. One to send them, photocopies of that to preserve, and if in future, VO asked, provide the photocopy along with the original 2nd copy.
2. For how long period, we should show the Bank Statement? No guidance is given. Even only Bank Certificate will do at CIO. However, as VO might suspect your money could be borrowed and subsequently ask for 6-month statement, so to prevent delay, send 6-month at the onset.

Dear Senior Members,

I am a 9th May applicant under NOC 2171. My CC has not been charged so far. I have not received my application back too.

Any thoughts on what might be happening with my application?

Is it safe to assume that my CC won't get charged and my application would be back?

More than the desire to go to Canada, it is the non-acceptance of the efforts put in the pursuit of the dream, which is hurting me!

Thanks,
Rohan.

Hi everyone
I am new to this forum
I need the information regarding how long it takes for Canada immigration officers to send the per. My application was received on 23th may but still now no reply from them about the status of application. I am little worried as well as frustrated. It's more than 2 months already.
Kindly guide me regarding this I will be highly grateful.

Hi Frodo,

Currently they are reviewing 12th may applications. 3 months should be a baseline period. consider August 24th or somewhere to be the time you will hear about your application.

Srikanth
