Hi Guys,

I'm really new to this forum and very much keen to apply for FSW.

I need a serious advise from masters on this forum. I need to know I am eligible for FSW or not based on below details.

The category I fall under is 2281 Computer network technicians.

My Details:

I have total 13 years of education (10 years of schooling + 3 years of Diploma in Computer Science).

I have total 12 years of work experience.

I'm 36 years old.

When I calculate points it is reaching 67 as per the details on immigration website. But I'm not sure about my EDUCATION eligibility.

I really appreciate everyone's valuable suggestion before I go for WES assessment. (If someone already knows i'm not eligible, why should i waste couple of bucks by sending my docs to WSE)

Thanks & Regards
Member.

Hi, with regarding WES, you can try their Free WES Degree Equivalency Tool first to check. http:// wes. org/ca/evaluations/preliminary.asp

hi seniors,

1) In generic application there is a field 12) Dependent type. Looking at the guide options A,B, C are not not applicable to my wife. Should i leave it blank?? Please advice....

Also I am not able to edit that field in Generic form

2) For POF I am providing FD. Is there any thing else like account statment for particular period is required?. I have attached photocopy of fd bond and a letter from bank confirming FD on their letter head....

Please answer

Congrats to all those who received their PERs.

Just a quick query and would appreciate the admins' respond.

1.My uncle in canada sent me a bank statement issued on april. Would the statement still be valid if i would send my application this month?
2. Anyone here who submitted a joint account with parent as POF and got accepted?

Thanks! :)

It would be better, if you could get a fresh statement. Though CIC allows upto six month old statement for claiming points for relatives in Canada.
Joint account with parents is not acceptable by CIC. The account should be in your name/ your spouse or joint with spouse (if accompanying you to Canada).

@ century

Please advice. I am in NOC 1114 and my file has reached CIO on 24.07.2014. I had worked for 4 years in this noc from Jun,2008 till June,2012. I am a financial planner.

While i see noc 1114, it describes the occupations as financial planners, fianancial examiners, financial investigators, financial underwriters, trust officers and mortage brokers.

I has served only as financial planner out of the listed couupations and has submitted refrenece letter pertaining to the role and responsibilities related to the said occupation.

Please advice whether the role of responsibilities of the other occuaptions listed under the NOC are also to be in the refrence letter submitted by me.

Thanks in advance.

No brother, only financial planner part is suffice. None should be expected to cover all those other occupations.

"Financial planners develop personal financial plans for clients covering cash management, finances, insurance coverage, investments, retirement and estate planning, taxes and legal matters; analyze clients' financial records, set goals and develop a financial strategy; advise clients on implementing the financial plan to help them achieve their goals; may also arrange for the purchase and sale of financial products and investments depending on the licence held, and monitor the portfolio to ensure its quality and profitability; and help to expand business and attract new clients."

Dear Plikhi,

Thank you very much for your inputs. Appreciate it very much.

@ Ananjay,

Did you got intimation that CIO has "included" your 'Additional Documents' (4th July) with your initial submission (12th May).
If it is accepted than you were not pushed back in the queue ... as you're charged in 25th Jul which is in-line with other 12 th May Applicants getting charged.

Could you pls look into it.
