Ok, as we've got a very positive feedback for the new spreadsheet sorting order idea, it's implemented now. Enjoy :)

For those who have missed the discussion, in short, all the news for a particular application status are now at the top of each colored section.

Just in case someone still needs the old sorting order, it's available now as a filter view: "Data -> Filter Views -> Sort by Application Status, NOC and Received date and time".

Wow, congratulations, Century! ;D

+1 Dmitrych !

We just discussed this a few pages back!

The "country of issue" of a passport is the country whose name is on the cover. It's an Indian passport, the country of issue is India!

Thank you all, So i will go with India..i GUESS

Hi Guys,

After the PER email, does the CIO ALWAYS send another email to notify the applicant that his/her application has been transferred to a particular Visa Office for further processing? Or do I need to contact the CIO to inquire about where and when they have sent my application?

And, does that Visa office ALWAYS sends an AOR email (Acknowledgement Of Receipt) to the applicant?

Thanks for the help guys,

Ammani

Replies please?

PER:
PER is Positive (Determination) Eligibility Review. That means your application is complete and pass the test of initial assessment.

When you get PER mail, you find mail where the following will be written:

Based on a review of the information you have provided, your application has received a positive determination of eligibility <that is PER> to be processed on the basis of work experience in an occupation specified in the Instructions issued by the Minister of Citizenship, Immigration and Multiculturalism and published in the Canada Gazette on May 1, 2014.

PR: Permanent Resident.

Hi Guys,

I'm really new to this forum and very much keen to apply for FSW.

I need a serious advise from masters on this forum. I need to know I am eligible for FSW or not based on below details.

The category I fall under is 2281 Computer network technicians.

My Details:

I have total 13 years of education (10 years of schooling + 3 years of Diploma in Computer Science).

I have total 12 years of work experience.

I'm 36 years old.

When I calculate points it is reaching 67 as per the details on immigration website. But I'm not sure about my EDUCATION eligibility.

I really appreciate everyone's valuable suggestion before I go for WES assessment. (If someone already knows i'm not eligible, why should i waste couple of bucks by sending my docs to WSE)

Thanks & Regards
Member.
