Dear All,

I am new to this forum and apologies if I am asking something which has already been asked. I have done lot of reading for the past few days and could not find a similar post.

I have over all 13 years of experience. Out of which 10 years is in brick and motor companies at senior levels and 3 years in IT. My current role matches exactly with NOC 2171. I have calculated my points and got exactly 68. I have reference letters also in the CIC prescribed format. My question is, will I be compared with the rest of the applicants with 6-10 years IT experience when deciding on my eligibility or it is purely on the basis of points.

Secondly, I am currently in the process of getting my ECA and will submit my application for CIC in September. Do you reckon it might be late for this particular job code?

Lastly, should I submit all the payslips, appointment and relieving letters for all the companies or it is fine to submit only the relevant ones for which I am claiming points?

Appreciate your time and effort in helping people like me. Thank you very much in advance.

"CAN+ is open to Indian nationals who have visited Canada or the United States within the last 10 years. These visitors will receive accelerated processing, allowing for Visa officers to focus on other cases. This will result in more efficient overall processing times for Indian travellers. "

I travelled to Canada in 2010. Guess I would be eligible.

Would read more about CAN+ program and share details soon.

Applicants with 67 points have same chance with applicants with 99 points. FSW is not a competion

Lastly, should I submit all the payslips, appointment and relieving letters for all the companies or it is fine to submit only the relevant ones for which I am claiming points? Payslips are fine if you have them, just submit for last 3 to 6 months in each job. Appointment letters too should be submitted, relieving letters not necesary

Appreciate your time and effort in helping people like me. Thank you very much in advance.
Hi, see above. Cheers :)

Hi, your spouse's birth certificate is a requirement, the alternative would be a birth affidavit from her parents. You might also consider trying your local birth registry or National Population Commission to see if they can issue another birth certificate. Cheers

Thanks Amit ;D
