Yes, i got it, PSK in ITO delhi.

same day (4-5 hrs).

Steps to apply :
Fill online application and take print out of it along with all required documents and go there with in time (8:30 am - 11:30 am). Try to go before 11 am.
If your address on passport and document(address proof you are showing ) is same then same day you will get PCC.
Please take document having "Reason for PCC required" ..

"NOTE: - RK Puram PSK not provide PCC" so don't go there.

I went in morning at 11 am and got PCC stamp on my passport and PCC printout letter original in evening by 4 pm.

Thanks Manish...

My case is not same.. My current residence address is not same as the address in passport.. I guess in that case it will take some time for them to do the background check...

And my problem is that my passport has US Address (My old passport expired when I was in US). And my permanent address is not where I am living. I am on rent in Delhi.. So, My case is ... I have 3 different addresses.. Offcourse they wont be doing any background check for US stay but they may do some verification at my Permanent residence and it may be delayed.. any one with different address in ppt and residence..Please confirm..

Hi All,
My present company is not providing me with the Experience/Reference letter. They feel that if I was given one,I would get the PR tomorrow and leave the company the next day. :o
My managers are also not supporting me with any of their business cards, authorizing my roles with their signatures in a plain paper...
I have 3.5 years of experience in this company as of now.
I have my appointment letter, increment letters, Pay slips for this company but for the reference letter stating my roles.
Can any one provide me a format for affidavit so that I can get a notarized copy stating that my company's policy restricts the provision of the letter ?
Please....
FYKI, I am from India and NOC-2173

They feel that if I was given one,I would get the PR tomorrow and leave the company the next day.

Wish this was true :)

Hi Seniors,

Need your help. I am applying for Canada federal skill worker program.
I have below query's regarding "Generic Application Form for Canada":

IM008 - Passport (Country of Issue )

I have a India passport, but it was issue in United Arab Emirates. So, in this section should I mention India or UAE?

Thank you in advance
Sonie :) ;) :)

[EDIT] - "Country of issue is where you originally got your first passport,no matter where you renew it. It is always the country of origin." Source is Yahoo!

So it will be INDIA.

Hope the OP is informed.

Following are some of the reasons why cases were rejected/returned for FSWP 2013 program: (almost all the cases were rejected/returned in the initial phase),

Please make sure you do not commit these mistakes while applying/before applying.

5- Insufficient Work Experience Proof

8- Did not meet the requirements of Regulation 10 of IRPA

.
60- Insufficient Job Duties Proof

63- Application rejected by CIO inspite of CC charge and ECAS IN PROCESS. Work experience for current job not provided. Reapplied on 9/30/2013

Guys, does anyone knows where can I find out details about these? Maybe someone remembers?

Hi everyone,

I've got a question regarding certified true copies.

Does anybody know if it is absolutely necessary that the notary public writes "I certify that this is a true copy of the original document" and the name of the original document on the copy.

I asked the local notary office if they can certify copies this way and they said that they have a predefined text that states the following: "This is to certify that this copy corresponds with the document shown to us this day and declared to be the original." and they won't include the name of the original document.

Thank you in advance.

You welcome dear,

You can do one thing just fill online form from psk website, and visit any PSK except RK puram and show your documents, they will help or guide you with the process for PCC. Because they will not charge any fees from you until you have all required documents, but if you visit there then they will guide you what to do and how to proceed in your case (with different address). It is best to fill free online form, take printout of it and visit PSK before 11 am with all documents and if something lag they will request you to provide.

All the Best Dear :)

What's the timeline for complete PR processing in case of having an arranged employment in Canada?

Hi, the truth of the matter is if you don't get the reference letter from your HR, supervisor or senior colleague, your application will be returned. You can check the FSW 2013 thread to see stories from applicants who mistakenly submitted self-attested reference letters and got their applications rejected. Self prepared reference is simply not accepted so I advice you go back to your company/supervisor and plead for the reference. All the best :)

Hi, the predefined text will suffice :)

I disagree here. The guide 7000 says for that field:

" From the list, select the country that issued your passport or travel document"

Even though he got his passport in UAE, it is India that issued the passport (via embassy/consulate).

You DO NOT need to notarize all copies.

Only copies of documents which are not in English and/or French needs to be translated and notarized.

I do not agree with this... Country of Issue will be India... Place of issue will be UAE but the country that issued you the passport is India as you are Indian citizen..
