I see most of the Indian private banks are misleading the validity of foreign currency DD. The foreign currency DD issued by any bank in India is valid for 6 month. Please ask your bank to shut up and issue a DD without validity period printed. by default all the banks do that. If you are still concerned check the reserve bank circular . Most of the private bank fiancé team are useless buggers and the don't know any shit about this. I remember running behind and those buggers were giving all misleading information and eventually I had to speak to HDFC senior manager and he confirmed it. If you live in Hyderabad go to HDFC hi tech city branch or mad happier police station SBI NRI BRANCH.

DONT TRUST THE BANK CUSTOMER CARE AND IGNORE WHAT THEY SAY. THEY DONT KNOW THE DIFFERENCE OF INDIAN CURRENCY DD AND FOREGIN

I had generated DD for my Quebec immigration in September 2013. It was successfully encashed after 5 months and 17 days by immigration department. Hence we have the proof the validity of international DD is 6 months until and unless any specific timeline mentioned over it.

Ohh in that case my suggestion is tremendously wrong. I read somewhere on the forum that categories don't matter in consecutive applications.. However, your comment seems legitimate...

Your premise is correct--there is no problem applying for a different NOC in a different year or even multiple NOCs in the same year--but the problem arises when one employer is used to try to demonstrate experience in more than one NOC. Providing two different letters from the same employer is extremely risky in my opinion and is almost surely a misrepresentation.

Not an issue at all brother. The earlier rejection meant that you are not 1112 and could be 1111. Both the NOCs are in same field - it is not unusual for a person having experience in both the NOCs - just think about CFO. Just mention previous roles you mentioned and current roles in 1111. But don't try to misrepresent.

There is some specific section of law on this - cannot remember where I found it. It is like this -If an applicant wrongly claim something, and if in the next application s/he rectify it, his application will not be affected for previously wrong claim. ;D ;D ;D

I agree with this so long as the applicant does not change the job duties to fit the desired NOC. If your job was 1112 and you change the stated duties to fit into 1111 then it would be a problem. But if you tried for 1112 and you weren't actually 1112 and you try again with the same job duties under 1111, no problem.

Please help me to short out a different Problem

I have applied through consultant and now for every thing he is not cooperating me. Every time i demand something like photo copy of application form, my documents and many other things he bluntly say no and our discussion become heated . Further after heated discussion he use to say that he will withdraw our case. I have following point which i need your help

1. Can he make any effect to my application
2. In case of withdrawal by him is CIC return my application
3. Any process to Complaint his acts and black mailing attitude
4. What is the way forward?

Need everyone views please help me to short it out

Sorry this has happened to you. Nobody should ever use a consultant. If you want representation, use an actual attorney.

The first thing you should do is use the Use of Representative Form to cancel his authorization as your representative. Follow the directions for submitting it to CIC. Once received by CIC this consultant will have no ability to further act on your behalf or sabotage your application.

My brother applied for NOC 1112, got rejected last year due to roles mismatch. This time can he apply for NOC 1111 by converting all 1112 experince into 1111 by arranging new ref letters?? Will CIC reject it, as he applied in NOC 1112 last year and this tym its NOC 1111?? PLz reply urgently.. KOllin bro, Asif bhai, century Sir.. all

Also would you mind to list the duties you used last year that were rejected as mismatch?

Hi seniors
i have a query . While i was preparing my Job experience letter . I got it signed from a senior manager whom i seem to know well instead of my own boss. I haven't even informed my HR department about it (I had the letterheads wid me Grin) . So is der b any problem during background check. Will dey ask my HR department about the person i report to ?? Or will dey ask about the person who has signed my job experience letter(btw i have attached the visiting card of the senior manager who has signed my job experience letter)

So you made unauthorized use of your company's letterhead?

Your local VO may well check with your HR department and further verify your employment. I hope they do.
