May 7th applicants were freaking out from the long delay but it just seems that this date is a bottleneck for CIC processing. ..same thing happened with the CC and DD charging ....

Hopefully now things may speed up slightly

I do not have my wife name printed on my passport, as the passport was issued very earlier to my marriage , will it create any problem in near future?

The passport is still having 4 years of validity at present.

After long waiting, I have received the PER 20 minutes ago. CC was charged 13 June. It is 81 days since submission and 45 since CC was charged. I am so happy !!!!. I hope all the best to all the applicants
