did I just hear PER for 7th May applicant... Anyone else got PER

That is the only one .. there have been a few 6 May as well. As I and others opined earlier. CIC seemed to have been focusing on clearing majority of 7 - 9 May apps. I think they had allocated all their staff towards that. Now that they are done with clearing 7-9 May Apps they have shifted focus towards PER as well.

All in all I am very optimistic about a large number of PER coming in from next week onwards

I am a Unix Product/Production Support professional with overall 8 years of Experience.
I know i am pretty late but "better late then never" Smiley
So i have decided to give a try and see if i can get thru.

At this point of time, i am confused with what NOC category should i apply my application with?
2171 or 2173 or 2174
I am just very much confused.

It would of a big help if someone can guide me on that.

In addition to that posting just your job title doesn't give me much to go on. But off the top I would say NOC 2281 ... post detailed job duties for a better opinion.

Read the Guide and follow the photo specifications. You need to submit 6 photos of each applicant and they must be properly sized.

.....GTiwana Case.....
This case has awaken a question... Isn't pay stubs and offer letter enough to prove that applicant is a full time employee. In my case, on my pay stubes, it is mentioned that i am a full time employee...but it is no where mention hours i work in a month. By looking it into this Gtiwana's case, i am very worried about the harsh behavior of CIC. Now the question is isn't FULL TIME is enough...i am sure that many applicants form India has only given in their documents that they work full time... I am not scaring anyone. Its just a question to work on. Any thoughts friends?

1.National ID:
I've seen some Qs & As in this forum regarding the National ID. Some replies were like that I have to provide this information if I have it, right? And, there is one problem with the expiry date (Mine one has no expiry date). I have seen in replies that we can keep it blank. What if I keep it blank and after printing write there "N/A"?

2. Visa Office:
I'm a Bangladeshi Citizen and currently working in Maldives. Should I select "Colombo" as VO or "Singapore"?

Document check list first...after that two barcode pages and then general application form...hope that will solve your dilemma.. Good luck !

Thanks bro , kindlly also tell me that in backgrnd decl form, for the Education part what should I write then abt city and country for ACCA ... I studied from here karachi and gave exams here and same was the case for my Oxford brookes degree which I completed from here , but these degrees are based in UK ...

Hell all, my application was received on May 28, 2014. Still no file number yet!!!! Any idea on how long this cab take? My current work permit is expiring in 2 weeks!!!! Without the file number I cannot apply for the bridging open work permit. So stressed out :'( :'( :'( :'( :'(

Mine was recd 26th May, current estimates are middle of September. Can you not extend your current work permit ?
