i am 6 May applicant . My DD had been encahsed on June 17. I have not yet received PER.
I had sent original copy of WES report.

Just now i had received following mail from WES

In order for Citizenship and Immigration Canada to process your application, they will need to review your evaluation report through using WES’s online service. In order to allow CIC to access this service, you will need to order a duplicate report and select CIC as a recipient of your WES evaluation report.

If you are using the attached order form and want to pay by credit card, please fax the completed form to 416.972.9004.

Once it has been processed, an email notification for a payment request will be sent to you, you can then log into Check Status/Your Account: https://www.wes.org/appstatus/indexca.aspx and pay your balance by a credit card.

In order to expedite your order, we encourage you to pay by a credit card. Cheque or Wire Transfer payments will take longer to process and will delay your order.

Has anyone else recieved this message. Does this mean that for CIC to process my application , I have to pay WES now to send a duplicate report to CIC . Are these things interrelated or is it just a coincidence that I have received this mail today only when it seems that CIC has just started processing PER for 6 May Applicants

Hello Neha,

This is normal.. If you remember when ordering WES ECA, there is an option to allow CIC to view your records online. if you have not selected that option at that time then they have asked you now to initiate this service. WES will keep records of all education assessment for next couple of years. CIC can also validate your academic transcript which you had shared earlier if required.

this is good news that they are reviewing your file.I would suggest you to do the needful without hesitation.

If you have any doubt try to raise new request in WES portal, you will find that option.

[size=9pt] Yes, seems related. Please do as instructed and you shall soon receive your PER news, i.e. once WES is paid and CIC can view your online ECA status. Good luck!

PS - I was hoping for your good news since you were on the list of 10 outstanding folks from May 6th!

You certainly selected WES Basic evaluation and not WES FSWP evaluation. At least two reported in this forum and many in 2013 forum.

Binuky also had this problem, paid amount through credit card, fax the payment document instantly.

Just follow what WES say. You will be OK. Binuky got PER.

CC not charged even today.

Guess it's goodbye for 9th May applicants. People worrying about PERs or Medicals or ECAS status, ask people whose CCs have not been charged. You guys will feel a lot better.
