Its inappropriate and unprofessional. It will not create any problem but it doesn't look good. Better stick with "Xxx Yyy" format.

Hmmm. In the ECAS update, CIC wrote my name all capital. ;) ;)

That's a different thing bro. I am talking about forms, names in uppercase and rest of the thing is lower case doesn't look good. Nothing wrong in writing it and as we all know CIC is bighearted surely they wont mind it in which ever way you write. :)

ahaaaa....nice one...!!! I don't think it requires an answer as you already know it...!!! :P :P :P

No PER mail and no increase of cap update. It only indicates the Cap update represent PERs only.

Looking at the CIC Cap update and change in numbers in the spreadsheet, I am reasonably confident that CIC cap update reflect PERs. Since the mid last week, payment was charged for more than 25 cases in the spreadsheet whereas movement in overall CIC cap update has been only 12. I don't think this is conclusive evidence but I have a strong feeling that CIC cap update is on PERs and not payment charges.

Based on this assumption, the spreadsheet has about 17% of the total universe. As per my estimates:

1. More than 7500 applications are pending processing at CIC as of now.
2. I think they are processing roughly 40 applications a day
3. At this rate, it might take nearly 200 days to clear the current backlog of applications

This is going to be a very very long wait........ :o :o :o :o

Seniors: Please correct me if any of you differ from my estimates

Yes...It has 5 or 6 columns and here's what I did since my duties have been more or less the same so i started from line 1 and went till the end in a continuous fashion (I am not sure that i did right) however, since the space was so less so i mentioned it like that...rest my reference letter has all of my duties listed...

PS:- If anyone answers please also let me know that I did right or wrong... :'( :'( :'(

I agreed with you. ;D ;D

Both are fine... however, I would write the position mentioned in my experience letter, Moreover, the final conclusion will be based on the docs that you submit.

I would suggest you attach 5 annexure and mention all JD in those annexure instead on Mention few JD in form.

So it will be like this in your forms:

Job 1 Please see annexure 1
Job 2 Please see annexure 2
Job 3 Please see annexure 3
Job 4 Please see annexure 4
Job 5 Please see annexure 5

Attach all annexure along with that particular form.

P.S. Also include Name, DOB, PP#, Form no#, Job #, etc. on annexure. It will be one annexure per job. Copy paste your duties from your reference letter. Hope this helps

my occupation

Associate professor is not sufficient in work experience occupation column

shall i write Asst. Professor or shall I use the additional paper and write the information
