Hi All,

This is regarding experience letter of spouse. My wife is the main applicant. I am having 9 plus years of experience in the same company that I am currently. Before that I have worked around 2 years in another company, my total years of experience will come 10 plus. From the current company it is difficult to get experience certificate, because of the reason I am currently working for them. But I have the job offer letter with the date I have joined, appraisal letter with the current salary and the position held in the company and I have payslip. These details will full fill or it is mandatory that I have to get experience letter? please help me on this.

Thanks & Regards,
Joseph

Its no where mentioned that a person with a min level of such and such exp can do the jobs mentioned in NOC if your roles and responsibilities are matching the one mentioned by CIC then go ahead and get it in written from your organization on their letter head and incase CIC smells something wrong they will call you for an interview and you can easily explain your point if you are honest in your Roles and responsibilities ..best of luck and send your application soon as time is the essence in fswp scenario :) make sure your score shuld be more or equivalent to 67 be positive and you will be successful

It is implied with the classification of skill level O, A, B, C, etc. They have classified the NOC with this skill level. This is why CIO checks both lead statements (represent level) and roles. but ultimately it depends on the discretion of review officer.

Management occupations are at the top of all organizational hierarchies. These occupations are characterized by high levels of responsibility and are also included in Skill Level A....When the second digit is also zero, this represents "senior" management occupations.

Most difficult task...ppl mgmt !!

Dear Century ,

We have in India MBA institutes as IIMs where people directly join the organizations at very senior posts may they have less wexp but still they enjoy the senior positions may be she has done her MBA from IIM :) and you are right in FSWP decision depends on the descrition of Visa Officer but the argument that a person with less exp cant hold the post of senior management is not correct . hope i am able to communicate the gist of my message :)

I think by now most know me. Not every word should be taken at 'face value' as I very much enjoy sarcasm and messing around! ;)

Having said that I also don't misguide people on serious issues. Many times on road you'll come across people who say X place is just a little further away though LOL it may be a kilometer or 5 kilometers away. I try to avoid that misguiding, however harsh the truth is! :)

PS - BTW, where are you based at?

Yeah would try....by the way....u hv a job offer in hand? How do we get employer nominqtion frm canada while being in the home country???

Plz help on this...i knw no source for getting a job
..

i am here in canada on work permit and then i got a job...little tricky to get an employer letter while being outside of canada..But u can make a list of companies from ur field and then register...go to their career site and see if they have openings..apply...

Why i see its tricky...because if they have urgent requirement then ur not here..and this PR thing takes year or so...they cant wait till then..there are many people here on PR yet to find jobs...But enough said..Nothing is impossible... :)

Hello Members

Here's a little tricky one and a little bit of skin picking.

I am asking this question on behalf of my colleague from my previous company.

He is willing to apply under NOC 2281 (same as mine).

He has a total experience of 4 Years.

He requested for a letter of reference from HR which they duly provided.

The doubt here is the Letter contains around 7 bullet points of the duties that he has performed in the company as an IT Engineer.

I have reviewed the letter and ALL the 7 bullet points co-relate to the duties under NOC 2281, however, the duties mentioned in the HRSDC site for the same NOC is a total of 12 bullet points. Out of the 7 duties in his Letter, 2 of them basically mean the same thing and match one of the duties from HRSDC site. This basically means that the total duties that he meets as per the HRSDC site's NOC is 6 out of 12 duties although he has 7 of them listed in his letter.

I hope I am making sense here.

So mathematically this is not exactly a 60% match with the NOC.

My assessment provided to him was that he is still okay to apply and claim points for NOC 2281.

Would anyone like to provide their perspective on this please ?
