my application was 2174 and received 10 am on 9th may. my cc still not charged. how long have they been processing 9th may? are they close to being done with 9th may apps?

I am applying for FBI PCC and paying through credit card. So my question is if the information filled in credit card payment form sufficient or I also need to contact/inform the bank to process this transaction? Anyone who applied for FBI PCC and paid through CC please suggest.

My wife's name before marriage was something like Sameena Khatoon
Khatoon was not her family name obviously!

After marriage her name was changed to sameena khatoon bilal hashmi

how should i fill the question: have you ever used any other name ?
what should i write in for her previous family name... should i write Khatoon?

How her name is written in passport:

Family Name:

Name should be written as in passport
If she has different name in other documents then you need to provide marriage certificate and a cover letter explaining about change in name....

HI..Which bank is your DD from? Have you written an email to cic and explain your situation?

Its from UAE EXCHANGE but DD issued from indusind bank to royal bank of canada.they r sayg its the uae exchange ppl whoz holding the fund.they r sayg ints only three months valid.i hv dine my file from a consultant already asked abt sending a mail but they r sayg cic dont entertain such mails.

Hi Jeet, What is the hurry to write to them when you are only a May 9th applicant? Even a few May 7th are getting charged right now. There's absolutely no need to burden them further with this communication at this time. Just my take!

Their current response time is over 40 days. I am yet to get a response for my Jun 19th e-mail from them. Hope that helps, Cheers!

PS - And there are guys like Anil Ch in queue from May 8th waiting for their turn for fee payment!

You won't hear anything. They only respond to e-mail of applicants whose received date is 70 days old from your e-mail date.

One more question... I have to send pics for 5 including myself means 30 pics as these are two much how should attach these with forms? Or can I put in an envelope and mentioned pictures on it.

Thanks for your suggestion Oscar..Actually, my DD is valid for three months hence only 2 more weeks left in its validity.. I want to know their advice as what should I do in such situation..

Yes, even for 6 pictures putting them in an envelop is convenient. Make sure you have names, date of birth and date of photo on the back of 5 sets of pictures for each and 1 sent is blank as asked.

In my case the e-mail was to request adding the later sent cover letter to my original package, and provide a confirmation on the same. Are you sure there will be no response to the e-mail?

Yesterday or day before one guy got a response from CIC after 42 days, as per his post in the forum. So I ask.

Last year CIO respond me twice. Both time CIO responded at the 20th Days. Saying from past experience. This year, it could be different.

But this year, they still quoting 20 working days.

2. For relative in Canada, I am attaching "Notice of assessment" copy for address proof of relative apart from PR card and Birth certificate copies, hope this is fine? or Do I need to include any other document as well for Address proof of relative in Canada?

You mau also include Property Tax paper/property ownership (if any) or Pay stub of your relative in Canada.
