1. Can I take a reference letter from a currently working employee from my past company, but he was not my superior...is that fine?

2. If I take a reference letter from my ex-superior, will they accept?

Since we now confirmed that there is no May 7 PERs yet, do you think CIC changed policy on giving PERs? I am thinking if this was the case. Like maybe they want to issue PERs, Medical Request, etc. like what CPP-Ottawa is currently doing?

I doubt it. I think their primary focus now would be to deal with the initial flood of applications. This is make sense also because they don't want to have peoples payments (CC or DD) to be rejected.

I believe once they are done with 9th May they might breathe a little easy.

Guys did something wrongly...submitted the spouses Additional family information form wrongly...IMM5406E....I am the principal applicant ..for my wife's form I wrote my name in front of applicant and her name at the spouse row...the other info about sister, brother etc is of wife's...sign is also hers....what do u think guys..seniors pls reply...is it harmful for the form..?

Thanks Future Canadian. But one question If I will get experience letter for more than a year for 0013 & the period before for 1112 then whether I will be evaluated under 0013 & will get full work experience marks though work experience in 0013 will be only 1 year & the rest will be 1112 which will be around 9 years.

You get points for any work in skill type 0 or skill level A or B.

It is incorrect but I think they will accept it as a small error. Admittedly the form is VERY confusing!

I'm a 7th May applicant but not received any e-mail from CIC yet, although my CC was charged one month ago. Do you think it's alright to contact them and ask about my application? because it's more than 10 weeks I sent my application. Does anybody have experience of contacting them recently?

Nobody from May 7 has received PER. You can call, but they're not likely to tell you anything you don't already know.
