Seeing 2 applicants (getting their CC charged) from the same lot as mine (9th May, NOC 2171, Received by Mike at 12:39pm) is really encouraging. However, anxiety levels are at all time high now ;)

Had a sleepless night yesterday (kept checking my phone for that all important sms from American Express). Hope I sleep peacefully tonight ;D

Guys.

What exactly are the NOC categories? The one that must be written on the application envelope.
What is your NOC.. XXXX has to be replaced with your NOC Code. Also the address below is for sending app by courier
The info is taken from http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/applications/guides/eg7toc.asp#eg76
You have to write as per below:
Citizenship and Immigration Canada
Federal Skilled Worker
NOC Category
Primary NOC 2011 Code: XXXX
49 Dorchester Street
Sydney, NS

NOC 1112, 2174, 1111, 2173. These are NOC categories for some finance and IT related NOCs/occupations. :)

Hello forum members - Regarding travel information in the forms, I am getting confusing advice from my immigration lawyer (reputed firm), so please share your experience. He said travel to home country (India) needs to be disclosed under "Addresses" in the Schedule A Background Declaration Form. Would greatly appreciate any views / experiences / advice.

Yup, I have that and the code.
What confuses me is the "NOC category" beloww FSW.
So there's nothing to write after the words "NOC Category"?

A4 or bigger which can carry your docs...

For labels - they should not be stickers...just type your address in MS-word that covers approx. half A4 sheet that is a label :)

Oh, those sticker type labels? Thanks...

Kind of silly question.. What kind of envelope did you guys use? ( color, transparency, how fancy, etc)

Hi Bro,

It happened to me as well, WES is so busy these days and this is expected.
What is the mode of mail you chose, please choose express if in case not done and you want to get it soon....

They sent me a mail on 20 June 2014 mentioning received all of the required documents & provided estimated completion date. I have selected international express mail. How long will it take to receive the report after they send?

I thought it would be the name of my profession so I keep looking on the CIC and NOC sites for the category list
but to no avail.

How and where I will mention that which of the jobs in my experience letters is to be considered towards my NOC? Like I have 2 years experience in one company, 1.5 years in another company and 1.5 years in the 3rd company and all accounts towards my NOC 1123 but names of designations are different in each company. Rest of my experience of 3 years does not directly relates to my NOC. I will get points for 4.5 years or 9 years including non NOC experience?

We calculate points ourselves on approximation basis does anyone from CIC officially calculates points for us as well?

You must list each job on your Schedule 3. Each one has a space for an NOC code. Choose the NOC code that best applies.
