If he wants to send the IELTS result to CIC and his app date will get changed...then why take a chance of being in a position where none of his docs meet...What I'd suggest is to send a new application with all the docs...which will take the same amount as his IELTS score card of time to reach CIC but this one gives a guarantee that he will be safe which, the other option does not...!!!

Since you have applied before, you have a UCI number. This is helpful.

What you should do is send your original IELTS by courier to CIC RIGHT NOW with a covering letter explaining the situation and mentioning your UCI number so it will be easy for CIC to match it up with the application you have already sent. There is no guarantee that it will be matched up with your application, but you might as well try because if you don't your application is guaranteed to be rejected.

Also note that in the experience of some forum members from previous years, if you send in new documents your application received date is changed to the date the new documents are received. So your application will not be a May 14 application it will be a July XX application. Sending your application early without the IELTS did not reserve your place in line if the application was not complete.

You're totally fine, that is a cold NOC and you are sure to be under the cap, you will be within the first 10% for this NOC.

Can any body please suggest me whether below points are ok for responsibilities for NOC 2173 with 4 yrs exp

1. Preparation of DOU, Technical Specifications, Estimation etc.
2. Coding,Unit testing and Integration Testing.
3. Fix or Resolve Application Bugs. Collect and document users' requirements and develop logical and physical specifications.
4. Research, evaluate and synthesize technical information to design, develop and test computer-based systems.
5. Develop data, process and network models to optimize architecture and to evaluate the performance and reliability of designs.
6. Plan, design and co-ordinate the development, installation, integration and operation of computer-based systems.
7. Provide solution and document the resolution details for the problem reported.
8. Maintain Application Source code using the Standard Version Control norms.
9. He has good experience and proven Technical skills in Full life-cycle development of Mainframe Applications.
10. Assess, test, troubleshoot, document, upgrade and develop maintenance procedures for operating systems, communications environments and applications software.

GOOD NEWS -

Many might recognize me. I am sorry to be away since a month from this forum.

As you know, I had applied for Student visa after FSW application and many said it will get rejected because of the below obstacles :

1) Already a masters degree holder and still going for PGDM
2) Already applied for immigration through FSW.

But my strong SOP helped me get a student visa today
I will be flying to Toronto within a month for a 8 months course, and by the time I complete it, I am expecting my FSW PR to be on its final stage.

As you are aware, I rejected UK work visa with this plan to come to India and apply for canada.
I am feeling so happy to see the 1st dream to be true.

FSW applied on 13th May under NOC 2132 (Mechanical guy) 8)


I wish everyone to get their PRs and pray for me too.
I will continue to co-ordinate and be in touch on this Forum from Toronto, and get the latest insights for all.

HI, FOr applying for FBI, you need to follow the steps in teh FBI site, like take the fingure prints, f ill the form,and CC form along with the checklist and post those documents to West virginia.. It will take about 28 calender days... I sent mine in June..it reached on June 16 and my CC was charged on July 16. After CC getting charged.. we'll get the certificate in 1-2 weeks.

Last year I applied under 1112 category but unfortunately my application got rejected because of not getting the pass mark of 67. The reason of that was that WES evaluate my qualification as Two Years Undergradute & the assessing officer gives only 5 marks for education. As the start of this year FSWP in May I contacted WES to review my evaluation & tell me what is the Canadian Equivalency of my qualification and after 2.5 months they informed yesterday that my evaluation is done & they sent me by courier and as per soft copy from their site it is showing now Canadian Equivalency Diploma Two Years which as per CIC should get 19 marks hence as per this I should get 67 total Marks. Last year when I applied my employer agreed to give me experience letter which math the 1112 while my actual work matches with 0013 & 1111. Now my confusion is whether I should apply under same 1112 category or can I apply under 0013 Category which is less hot as compared to 1112.

You asked for a letter matching 1112 even though your actual work experience didn't match it? That is a misrepresentation and is a serious offense. Do not do such a thing again.

Both 0013 and 1111 are eligible NOCs this year. Both of them are filling up much more slowly than 1112. If you can get an HONEST letter showing at least 1 year of continuous full-time experiencein either NOC, I suggest doing so and applying under one of those NOCs.

The problem is that it is possible that CIC has a record of your former application, since they opened it and evaluated it to determine whether you made the pass mark. Nobody really knows whether they keep full records of all applications even those rejected at an early stage. But if they do, it's going to look very bad that your employer's letter last year stated duties for 1112 and now states duties for a different NOC.

If you have a different employer that can give you an HONEST letter for an eligible NOC that doesn't contradict a letter you sent with your previous application I suggest going with the different employer. If you have no choice but to send a contradictory letter, you'll just have to take your chances.

So you tried to make a mockery of the system by sending a result which got expired in Dec 2013... Are you serious...!!!

I can tell you your result of 2014 today "you are getting your file back" so no need to wait, prepare another package with the new IELTS result and send it over.

CIC will not care if you attached a letter stating you will send an updated result...they will not be able to locate your file and match it with the new IELTS.

btw one question.....You had 2.5 years before 2014 why did you not appear for IELTS again? and when it was announced in April that FSW will open why didn't you register for IELTS on the first day of info?...your file would have reached in 1st week of June....However, you would have played a safe bet...!!!

Thanks...also would request not to ask questions for which you already know the answers for... and try to show that you are innocent....(hard rule of CIC for IELTS validity - 2 years).

Yes I forgot the possibility of sending a new package. This person could send a new package.

However given that this person has a UCI, there is a better chance of CIC matching up the IELTS with the already received application, than someone with no UCI.

Hello,

My application reached its destination on 14th of July. I am applying under the NOC (civil engineer - 2131).

Can you help me to understand what will be the next step. I am checking my credit card statement every days since but I have heard somewhere that, it might take up to 60 days before they charge my card (if they ever do)

Anyone can share ideas about the procedure now?

1) if my credit card is charged, does it mean that i am in the game? Or what does it mean?
2) if it is never charged, am i out? when should i lose hope totally?

uhhhh ohhhh....was not aware about that...is somebody here with ICAS evaluation please help...!!!

I had to use ICAS too bcos my University was not on WES list. Averagely, it takes about 2 months (8 weeks) for ICAS process. May be shorter if all your documents arrive at the same time.
