Yea, there is no separate international limit for foreign currency (FCY) transactions.
However, you must inform them about the amount of FCY transaction you are expecting in what time frame, reason being against your recent past there is a FCY txn all of a sudden they might decline it - Why take a chance.

I have a Platinum card & working with Citibank.

You can login to your Online account & post a mail to them.

Anybody using Citibank Platinum credit card has got charged? Do I need to enable International transactions and set the limits for citibank as well?

Yes ... do it now itself, many forum members got declined message from cc company bcos of international usage is not enabled or low international limit..

credit card limit is different from international usage limit ...... so check your bank for the same....

For case specific query, you need to e-mail at CIO-Sydney-Search-Enquiry @ cic.gc.ca . Mention your full name and date of birth.

For getting UCI:
 Procedure to get CIC agent on phone
 Call at – 0016139444000
 Select 1 for English
 Then 1 for foreign affair
 2 for immigration
 Call is being transferred to CIC
 Then 1 for English
 2 for status
 1 for PR
 When it asks you to enter UCI number just be on hold n let it say it 3 times then the call is automatically transferred to an agent
 Agent will ask information about last name, first name, date of birth, application received date, email id etc.

After getting UCI
 Call to CIC number and follow the IVR (112-121). In last IVR system ask you to enter your UCI
 Once you enter your UCI,
 If system directs you directly to agent without any announcement it's means your payment is not Encashed yet
 If after entering your UCI, you listen the announcement like " your application has received on xxx day" it's means you have been charged now wait for the PER

hi all members and Ashif...i need prompt comments on my case plz...i applied as fswp in 2013 and my file returned due to cap reached ...now again i applied under fsw 2014 and my file reached on 8th may 2014 ..i sent DD and now i used my 2013 UCI number to check the status of my application and found "under process".....plz note in my new application of 2014 i never wrote my previous UCI number...just used it to check the status after reading forum members comments that they are using same number to check..plz tell me what can i assume from UNDER PROCESS?

Pls how does d criteria for Funds apply. In terms of the amount of money one must take along to canada. E.gfor a single applicant must take 11,875$ canadian dollars. What if u only have 9,500$ canadian dollars as amount to carry along. Would you b rejected cuz of this?

Your dd should be encashed.... as per trending it means your fees is charged by CIC... congrats!

Thanks Harka007 and Varuen! I'm getting paranoid by the day since it's been 2 months now since we last submitted (May 12).

Does anyone know if CIC base the documents' cut off date from when the application was RECEIVED or when it has STARTED to be processed (post CC charge)? For example, my police certificate is only valid until end this month (July 2014). Will CIC consider this as OK based on what cut-off date?

Hi it means your DD has been encashed and you are now in the PER waiting list.
