Hey guys...

CC charged... May 9th 2174 application...Just got SMS...

Congratulations kondaveeti41
Just gave you +1 for being the first to report 9th may getting charged. All 9t may applicants will be grateful to you to break the news.

can you please also confirm if you were a returning applicant from 2013 or a fresh applicant. Just curious....

thx, Goku! so Oscar7 is not accurate. CIC only sends PER emails.
more frustrating :o

Its not like Oscar7 is inaccurate. He is well informed guy with thorough knowledge of FSW program. But he might have missed the part I told you. Also he is a senior member of this thread. :P :)

This does no seem correct, unless the process has changed this year. I applied last year, got NER with returned application but my CC was never charged. I also never had access to my application status via ecas.

As I said this is the process stated on page 1817 of the forum. I did not make this.

And I don't know if he provided his email ID or not. Or if a lawyer's email was given. Or whatever his case is! Why rush to conclude? ::)

:P

M I dreaming or is it true? I just saw somebody in the spreadsheet charged for application received on 9 May. CIC is already over 8/5???

People who got PER, please reply - Where did you get ur PER email(inbox or Junk/spam)?

Hi Century

My friend whose application reached on 9th may told me that his CC was charged one month back on 16th june. But how can it be possible that few persons are being charged so early and some now ?

Either your friend file reached on 7th may or your friend is joking. ;) ;)

They aren't yet done with May 8 applicant, but they also started processing May 9th applicant side by side.

See you should be sharing all this mate, for others to learn, at least can be a LESSON LEARNED for others! :)

From where did you guys get the finger printing done, since it got rejected?

That is why I tell people in the forum to not try and save money or cut costs (not saying you did that, so please don't get me wrong). I got it done by a private agency that charged me about INR 3000 and that too after my strong negotiation skills since this is like the 3rd time I got it done from them in over 3 years. The guy was asking like 5000 or 6000.

And yes it will likely take no less than 6 weeks because FBI's a$$ is jammed right now with all late requests! Good luck! :)

It was done by a fingerprinting professional here in the US. When I called customer service, they suggested to go a local police station! Whatever, I will write an email to CPC and see what they say.

Well .. at least CIC can handle parallel processing .. only if they had 30-40 parallel processing units :D .. I can sponsor their staff's coffee if that helps crank up the speed .. :P :P :P

@ hellen119119

No he didn't received any NER email, however, his ECAS status which was updated upon receipt of fee disappeared immediately, which indicated to him that something bad is going to happen and then he received the packet.

thx, it is very clear that cic likely only sends per emails
