Dear All

How long does it take for CIC to update your application with Identification Number / UCI number . My application was received by them on 13th June 2014.
I have still not heard from them neither i have received any email from them .

Can someone help

Dear Friends,

I need some help specially from Pakistan because we have requirement from WES to send Intermediate Certificate directly from Institution, so any one who has done this procedure, please guide me about how to proceed with this attestation.

Also i already send to WES my Bachelor and Master degree and marks certificate copy attested and sealed in envelope (without Intermediate certificate) but they give the objection "NOT ACCEPTABLE", now I am confused what i need to submit or only because i did not submit my School certificate, they did not accept this document. (link also shared)

Please guys i need your help regarding this issue to be resolved.

There is a form available on WES ( for Pakistan) to be sumbitted at the board office.

1. Fill and print it out ----- take the original and a copy of it with you
2. If you are from BISE then a bank draft of $15/- in the name of "Secretary Board of Intermediate Education, Karachi" has to be attached with the application form
3. Passport size photograph

AGAIN, if you are in Karachi and belong to BISE then go to room no. 14 at the intermediate board office.
They know what WES is and you should not have a problem sending your intermediate docs to WES through them.

------------------------------------- How to Check ECAS Staus -------------------------------------​

1) Open URL https://services3.cic.gc.ca/ecas/
2) Follow the instructions to get to form.
3) Select UCI from the Identification type.
4) Enter your UCI from previous interaction with CIC (It is in the format 0000-0000). You will have one if you applied to CIC previously for any sort of visa, or PR.
5) Enter your Surname / Birth Date / Country of Birth and hit Continue.

If your application has been put In Process you will get the page with this notice other wise you will be told that no information was found.

her mother name is balaneelaveni and it is in all other documents, in birth certificate it is as neelaveni.

This is my first query to the forum. I don't have surname in my passport. While filling the form, it is must to enter the surname.

So i entered my given name in surname and left given name blank.

Please let me know if this is OK.

Anyone here on forum, who has WES evaluation completion date as "17-July" and still waiting for the evaluation result. Its been more than a month since they received my documents and still the status is "Evaluation in progress". I have seen few ppl on this forum who's status changed to Evaluation completed in a day or two from "Evaluation in progress". Tried mailing them twice but got the standard reply saying due to large volume its taking more time. Dont think they check the status of your app and reply back.

Any advise on above? Should I call them up to check the status?
