They will only give you points in the job experience where it is the related to the NOC you have applied for.

Had the same question before and I've read from an applicant, from the global forum, that he received points ONLY for the case same as mentioned above.

Hi

You can also send some clear printouts of screenshots of AICTE website page which mentions your institute's name. You can say that not all insitutes are covered under UGC ( which is generally a benchmark for assessment)

If your insititute has any exchange/partner programme you can provide proofs of that. Example Some PGDM courses have exchange programme with international institutes which give MBA. This will support the equivalence of your education.

Clear printouts of institute website detailing the 2 year PGDM course, pedagogy, curriculum etc with full contact details of institute

Prove that this 2year full time PGDM was earned after 17-18 years of full time education so that you get 23 points instead of 21

There can be many other things. It depends on your creativity and then just hope that they consider it. In my case they did

hope it helps

Thank you..will definitely do that and yes our college has exchange program with the following universities:

1. IÉSEG School of Management, Lille – Paris, France
2. Eastern Michigan University, Michigan, USA
3. Warsaw School of Economics, Warsaw, Poland

Also with whom did you get the academic certificates attested (as these institutes do not have a Registrar). Please help me on the same

Hi all,
I need your help. My file reached on 9th May and my visa office is New Delhi.
Recently, I've received a job offer from japan and I need to move to japan in next 2 months.

Suppose if my application is successful and file is transferred to local visa office, As my visa office gets changed to japan as I will be there, my question is how does it can impact my application.

Please advice.
Thanks.
No problem at all, only total processing time will increase by 3 months. As soon as you AOR from NDVO inform them about your current status. They will decide whether to transfer your file or process locally.
Cheers

Hi Seniors,

I am from pune university. For WES, I have below queries.
1. Is it require to send marksheet attested by controller of Examination in university sealed envelope?
2. Is it require to send education transcript in university sealed envelope?

Do we need to send both documents or either anyone will work?

Yes to both of them. You may have photocopies of your original mark sheets attested and dated by the Controller of Examinations or Registrar’s Office. Please request for the attested photocopies to be placed in an official sealed envelope and have the envelope returned to you to forward to WES. and top of them you also need Clear, legible photocopies of all final or provisional degree certificates issued by the institutions attended

My application was received June 13 by David in CIO. I know it is still a very long waiting game, but How do you monitor status of documents ? What is the next step ?

Hello everybody,
what documents are required as a proof for work experience. Would just a experience letter with responsibilities and package suffice or do i need anything additional.

Thanks

I am self employed consultant , how do I go about showing that I have worked full-time 40 hours a week, when I actually did on several projects ?
Can I write a cover letter to explain this situation ?

Does your current and intended occupation has to be one of the 50 NOC exactly in terms of words or it can be different a bit like 'Electronic and Embedded System Engineer' ?

Here is the note for self-employed individuals. Document checklist and check number 12 regarding to work experience.
NOTE:
Self-employed individuals must provide documentation from 3rd Party individuals indicating the service provided along with the payment details. Self-declared main duties or affidavits are not acceptable evidence of work experience.

Employment Reference Letters:

CERTIFIED/NOTARIZED COPIES (Notarization optional)

IF YOU ARE NOT ABLE TO PROVIDE A REFERENCE FROM YOUR CURRENT EMPLOYER, PLEASE PROVIDE A WRITTEN EXPLANATION.

ALSO IF POSSIBLE PROVIDE E-MAIL CORRESPONDENCE WITH HR OR CONCERNED PARTIES.

As a general rule, reference letters must be issued with a date, signed by a supervisory officer at the place of employment. They MUST be on original company's letterhead, showing the company's full address, contact details, and be stamped with the company's official seal.

Letters from your current and former (if any) employers describing your work experience are a very important part of your application. These letters should be detailed and must show the Canadian Immigration officer that you performed certain work activities for a specific duration in accordance with your skills and qualifications.
The letter(s) should clearly describe the duties and tasks of your particular position.

IMPORTANT NOTES:

• Letters that only indicate position, salary, and a statement that “he was a very good employee and we would hire him again” may not be sufficient! These letters are missing the important details of the applicant's performance while working with the company.

• Employment Reference letters must include the following:

-the specific period of your employment with the company;

-the position(s) you have held during the period of employment and the time spent in each position

-your main responsibilities in each position;

-Your total annual salary

Elements of A Good Employment Letter :

A good job related reference letter gives many details. It lists the projects you worked on, and the achievements you accomplished. Very importantly, it should also describe your day-to-day duties and tasks. These daily tasks may seem mundane, but they often demonstrate that you perform the duties of a certain position, and that you possess the required basic skills. It is important that the letter demonstrates that you know the basic skills of your position, and that you have already been trained in them.

At a minimum, the letter should state your position, the length of your employment, salary, and a summary of your duties.

Having problems obtaining Employment Letters ?

• Sometimes people are reluctant to ask their employer for such letters, for fear that the employer will become suspicious of them. If this is the case, then you may ask colleagues

• Letters from colleagues must be notarized, and should state that he/she has worked with you, and witnessed you performing certain duties.

• In those cases where employment letters are not available, or where letters from colleagues are substituting, as many of the following additional documents should be provided to CIO office as possible:

• tax documents
• pay slips
• performance appraisals
• contracts,
• promotion letters or letters of appointment
• letters sometimes provided by employers for banking purposes, in which the letter confirms your position and salary; this kind of letter may be available from your Personnel/Human Resources Department.

Please note that these substitutes may be provided, even in the case that you are able to obtain a good employment letter as detailed above. Providing with such documents can help better demonstrate credibility of your employment history, which may facilitate your application, or the chance of an interview waiver.

Generally a reference letter is written as follows:

[Company Letter Head]

[Date]

To whom it may concern,

[Applicant] has been employed by [employer] from [start date] to [end date], in the position of [position or job title]. His/her monthly/annual salary was [salary]

In this position, he/she had the following duties and responsibilities:

[list of duties and responsibilities]

Additionally, [any additional information]

Please do not hesitate to contact me if you require any more information

Sincerely,

[Name of supervisor]
[Signature of supervisor]
[Business card of supervisor attached if possible]

The description, duties and responsibilities on the letter should closely resemble, but not be an exact copy of, those expected of an employee working in your NOC code.

If your company will not issue such a letter, you should take every step to obtain official documentation from the company listing your job duties and responsibilities. As well, these other alternatives may be used, however they may not always work. It is always better to obtain an original letter of reference directly from a supervisor or HR.

Thank you.
[/list]

There is no way to monitor status until your CC is charged or DD is enchashed, currently 7th-8th May are bring charged or enchashed so it will a couple of months until they get to mid June applications at least or possibly longer.

Sorry to say but you can't know the status of your application until you will get PER. If you have paid through DD then you might get to know by the bank when DD will get enchased. You will get email from CIC after encashment of DD or CC. Or you can get the information through old UCI. It seems like that you dont have one.

Next step is you have to wait until you hear from CIC. Most probably you will have to wait 2-3 months .

1. lease agreements
2. the most recent notice of assesment from canada revenue agency
3. employers letter confirming employment
4. monthly bills
