Do you have to attach the 2 pages barcode generated on IM0008 application above your check list. Is this additional copy or its just one at the start?

I have some confusion regarding the total number of years in - education occupation detail(im0008)
My education brief is as below
Primary + Secondary = 10+2 = 12
Diploma = 2 Years
Degree BE = 5 years(Actual 3 years but completed in 5 years)
Therefore is my total education period 19 years or 16 years(accounting standard course periods)

i think i degree/diploma is two years and u pass it in four years, it will remain two years. for example full time or part time..Whats imp is NO OF YEARS OF STUDY

Thanks what makes things a bit more confusing for me is that WES-ECA counts two years of diploma and 3 years of engineering as 4 years of engineering.
Which is correct as the students from diploma directly enter second year of engineering.

But in application 5669
I do not know how to divide this in the following fields, my best guess is as follows
Elementary/Primary school - 5 years
Secondary High School - 7 years
University College - 4 years ??
Trade School or other post secondary school - 2 years(this is diploma 2 years, should I leave this blank then as it is counted in University college to 4 years?).

My employment certificate is updated but i jist knew that the mobile number in the call card i provided from my previous employer is not used anymore but there is a telephone number though. I want to ask as well if how many months is the processaing usually for fsw 2014?any estimates? Thanks again

Is it possible that they sent the app to the LVO even without sending the PER yet? I wonder what happened to PER on May 7 and some for May 6...

Last year's cap was less. This yr its 1000. Chances are sleek but do try..

U r right but this time applicants are also more than last year, still cant say anything for sure but can try and pray. I really dont want anyones app get rejected for any reason, i pray to Almighty Allah we all get success in our apps.

CIC will only update status on ECAS once the application is deemed to be complete and accepted which only gets done once they receive or are able to charge the applicable fees. From my experience of the 2013 forum a good number of applications were returned owing to authorisation failure of CCs. None of them reported of being able to check status on ECAS.
I myself was able to check the status of my application on Friday 4th of July as in progress and application received for permanent residence on 7th may. I called my bank on Tuesday morning I.e. 8th July and they confirmed that the DD has been encashed on 4th July hence I elieve you have no reason to worry.

Yes....We can say that.
I have an exception of a buddy of mine whose bank still says his DD is yet to be charged while his ECAS is already showing that the application has been received ;D
I believe that 99% DD with ECAS updates have been encashed.

CIC will return your package using ordinary postal mail. Based on my experience in 2013 they had dispatched my application in Early September as this was the date on the letter but it was delivered to my address in October 2nd or 3rd week. I am based in London so depending on your location it can take even longer. You should instead send a new application package.

Wait till 9th may get processing, send a mail to cic, if you don't hear any news from them. its better to send a brand new application... don't wait until your application return it will take long time...
