Could you please tell me that my application is recieved on 30th June 2014. By when i will be able to check my ecs status as I have UCI number with me from last year when my application is returned due to cap reach.
Thanks

If you are in India, you can visit the nearby court or govt offices for registration etc.. normally there is a lot of advocates, notaries and such people who can do translation along with affidavit and notary stamp also..

My baby lost his US passport in India and he is a foreigner in India so as a proof of admission he doesn't have entry exit stamp on his new passport, I thought of attaching translated copy of FIR in order for evidence that he lost his passport and does contain entry exit stamp on lost passport.

Any Advice??

I was just wondering why you mentioned that I need to get them stamped by my bank. Just wanted to know where you got this from. :)

I did not want to offend you in any way. If my previous message sounded a bit rude, please accept my honest apologies!
I'm not offended......
I'm just trying to let you know I didn't say document checklist specify it........just trying to say anything worth doing at all is worth doing well to avoid any form of politics from CIC.
You were not rude to me by any standard and I'm glad you now understand my point.

Thanks for the reply. Is jewellery accepted as proof of funds? Or if I have a joint property with my brother will that be acceptable? I am applying with my spouse and not with my parents. If property is accepted, what exact document they require as a proof (LDA Transfer letter or Registry)?

1. Yes.

2. Cash, fixed deposits, stocks and bonds and mutual funds that are publicly traded and can be quickly liquidated. Any currency is fine as long as it is freely convertible. No need to have been in the account for any particular length of time, but the funds must be yours and not borrowed.

Q. My card has not been charged even though applicants after me are charged and received PER, am I out of game?

A. Until and unless you do not hear from CIC in terms of rejection letter or NER and you are sure that you have sent all required documents and filled forms properly, you are not out of game. Each case is different and there are number of persons at CIO that are dealing cases. The delay in your case can have number of reasons, including and not limited to the documents you have sent, experience certificates, financial proof, age or your ability to get establish economically in Canada. Sooner or later, you will hear the outcome of your application.

One stage at a time.....
Let your CC/DD be charged first and worry about ECAS updates later.
I'm surprised you are more concerned with ECAS updates than getting you CC/DD charged! ;D
Calm down and enjoy this mandatory waiting process....
You will be fine....
Cheers.

For settlement funds money in liquid form will be accepted like saving bank account/fdrs etc...
If you are applying with spouse you can show money in your account/spouse account/joint account

Joint account with monther/father/bro/sis/cousin/grandparents will not be acceptable...

If your manager wants to initialled it on every page, its fine.
If he wants to place stamp&signature on every page....its fine...
The most important thing is that he stamps (if available) and sign it.
Best practice is to apply stamp and signature at the last page but I've seen cases where it is done on every pages.
If you feel this will give credence to your application, please feel free to let him do it without any interruption.
All the best.
Cheers.

Better to take signature on each page.. stamp on last page seems to be OK.. at least, that was the case with me. I am not sure what other people may advice.. but it looks ok to me.

@ananjay

You mean to say If I have joint property with my brother it will not be accepted? This is I am talking about providing information at the time of sending my file, I do know that if I get the immigration at that time I need to have funds in liquid form to be able to transfer with me.

1.You cant show property as proof of fund.
2.You can...but at this application stage,I will advise you to submit bank certificate but be rest assure you will be expected to give about 6 months statement of account(by your V.O) later on during medical stage.
3.Why the confusion? The POF needs to be unencumbered which is why properties may not be shown.
Statement of accounts and/or bank certificate are popularly accepted according to instruction.
Cheers.

Once we get the medical request we have to to prepare the 6 mos bank statement?
