Calling out to all seniors here to provide a sample reference letter format to get an idea how it needs to be framed. Will incorporate changes in that format according to my NOC.

Thanks for the reply. Is jewellery accepted as proof of funds? Or if I have a joint property with my brother will that be acceptable? I am applying with my spouse and not with my parents. If property is accepted, what exact document they require as a proof (LDA Transfer letter or Registry)?

Neither Jewelry nor Property ( in your name or jointly ) is acceptable as settlement funds. You can use them as ASSETS.

Just want to clear one thing that i heard from forum that trnsalted document needs an affidavit. I have submittde translation of birth certificate of mine and my spouse but consultant dint mention any affidavit. will it have effect on my application plz advise. Thanks

For now,regardless of what I say...your application is already with CIC and so...nothing you can do.
CIC specified that an affidavit of the translator of the native document needs to be included along with certified copy of it.
Your consultant may have successfully done for other applicants or perhaps,he/she feels there is a high level of genuineness in the translated document.
Let us just hope all will be well.

I got employment reference letters from my past employers which counts up to 41 months in the last 10 years. Additionally I am self employed for past 5 years and the only proof I can readily show is online app sales financial statements from Apple. Apple will generally not issue stamped/certified copies of sales and even if it would it would take lot of time. I can also show company bank statements in addition to online financial statements prints.

My question is even if CIC considers the documentation of last 5 years of experience/list of duties as inadequate, do they turn return the application back or they can still consider the remaining 41 months of experience and calculate points. I still can make enough points even without last 5 years experience.

In my application I have shown liabilities as Zero and as proof of funds I have shown Fixed deposits and bank statements to shown equivalent of CAD 18100. Now after looking at the various messages in forum, I have learned that VO would be asking for 6-12 months of bank statement. Now my query is which bank account statement would they be asking? I have provided two bank statements (of only 1 month) in my application. So would they be asking both 6-12 month statements for both accounts?

My second query is that I have got one home loan and one personal loan running. Once I show my 6 to 12 months statement then the EMI's would be clearly reflected in them. So in that scenario how can I explain it to them that I have utilized this money to buy a property in the backdrop that I had shown zero as liabilities in my application? I am kind of worried about this. I need help.

Just pray to GOD that VO will not ask for 6 mnth statement...
Can you do one thing....can you change account no for your emi deduction now??? I dnt know whether it will work or not....
If you can change or open a new account for your emi deductions then when you will send statements from your 2 accounts that you have mentioned for immigration purpose will not reflect any deductions for EMI' s...
I dnt think there is any other way to sort this issue bcz your file is already received at cic....
Rest seniors can guide you better....

1. you can show liquid properties as proof of fund.. but can not show gold, land, car etc.
2. You can deposit even one day before and get the bank certificate.
3. I am also confused about your question.. but remember that you can show your bank balance, LIC certificate, mutual fund, provident fund etc as settlement fund.. i have also heard that share certificates are also acceptable but i have not seen anybody using it.

Fixed deposit is also a liquid money if can be encashed anytime on the request of account holder....

Hi everyone, I am new at this forum and I saw the spreadsheet of all the people from this forum who have sent application for FSW is already at 1,400+ and counting which says that this forum is very active.
I am also planning to send my own application, however, I want to know if there is someone who have sent an application and got a file number from CIC even though their ECA shows that it is less than a Canadian equivalent for that occupation? (for example I want to apply as a Registered Nurse but my ECA from WES only says that my Bachelor's degree in Nursing is only equivalent to a Nursing Assistant and it is only a 2 year Diploma in Canada).
I would really appreciate if someone can help me with this.

You can apply if your total point is 67 or more.
