As long as you got 1 year of continuous job experience, regardless of your field of study, you are eligible to go.slidetounlock said:Thank you for your reply.
However, CIC website says:
"Starting in May 2013, all people applying under the Federal Skilled Worker Program (FSWP) must get an Educational Credential Assessment (ECA) of their completed foreign educational credentials.
If you are only submitting a Canadian educational credential, you do not need to do this.
An Educational Credential Assessment (ECA) is used to verify that your foreign degree, diploma, certificate (or other proof of your credential) is valid and equal to a completed credential in Canada.
You must have such an assessment if you:
are a principal applicant, and
got your education outside Canada.
Your education must be assessed against Canadian standards by one of the organizations designated by CIC (below).
When you apply as a federal skilled worker with a foreign educational credential, an original ECA report must:
be included with your application along with proof of your foreign credential,
be issued on or after the date the organization was designated by CIC,
not be more than five years old on the date that CIC gets your application, and
show your credential is equal to a completed Canadian one."
Which means that since I am applying as a Registered Nurse in Canada, my ECA should also say my Education is Equivalent to that of a Canadian Registered Nurse not a 2 year diploma (Nursing Assistant).
What do you/everyone think?
Is this a recent change or was it always like that? If the change is recent, then you don't have to worry.Danibravo2003 said:hi i have one question. Mike1981 said:No need to be worried. Office will make the correction (famous red pen )
why i'm saying this is because February 2013 my application returned to me because of missing family information page and i saw they made the correction on my file.
It is always better to get an official certification from the bank as it is more reliable. But, according to the checklist, even if you just submit the monthly statement, it should be fine. If you are showing funds for the past 6 months, even better.svcanada said:Hi All,
Have a question regarding Settlement Funds is last six months bank statement showing the balance enough or we need some statement from Bank.
Thanks
You should know that property (as in a house or car) cannot be used as settlement funds. It has to be readily available monetary funds like money in bank account, mutual funds etc.buddo said:Hello Seniors,

Many thanks Future_Canadian, you see until I see the PER I will be seeing nightmares of NER. Post that I will move to medical and VO rejection nightmares. Thanks for your and other senior members and moderators patience. Love you all!future_canadian said:Spouse ECA not required. But spouse's degree copy is required IF you are claiming adaptability points for spouse's previous study in Canada.
