My question is with regard to following

1.Iam applying under Financial manager noc For claiming 6+ yrs exp points do I need to be in financial manager noc job role all the six yrs or only 1 yr need to be financial manager noc job roles. If yes than exp prior to 1 yr can be shown only as joining letter and relieving letter as going back to prevoius employer for job role on letter head will not be possible.

2 I have property worth 100000 usd ie 5.9 million INR can that we use as proof of funds. If so what document requires.

1. You only need 1 year in your primary NOC. You can get points for any employment at skill type 0 or skill levels A or B.

2. Real property is not liquid and cannot be used as proof of funds. Settlement funds must be liquid and unencumbered.

Now there is too much discussion on the forum related to work exp. I thought i will share my app too...this is what i submitted...

1. Company A (working since sep 2006 till date)- job duties on letter head with my managers sign and contact info.
2. Company B (worked from apr-sep 2006)- just the exp letter with my name and position and duration of my work. (No job duties)
3. Company C (worked from jan-apr 2006)-just the exp letter with my name and position and duration of my work (no job duties)
4. Company D (worked from dec 2003-jan 2006)- just the exp letter with my name and position and duration of my work (no job duties)

In addition to the above i have submitted my tax forms, increments and promotion and offer letters from all the companies.

I hope i will be fine ???

I have applied under 2171 category. My application was received by Mike on May 1st, 2014. My CC is not charged, nor have I received any communication.
Going through several posts, it seems that CIC is done processing all the applications till May 7th. Do I still have a chance or have I missed the opportunity this year ?

Try to contact with CIC via someone who are staying in Canada. It is easy for the people to contact with CIC via phone call, who are staying in Canada.

I faced problem while applying with Old Generic form. I contacted with them for the clarification via one of relatives who is staying Canada and got the exact information.

You just have to provide some information(Date of Birth, Date of Application, NOC and Receiver name)

Yes the entire exp of all companies is the one specified in 2281 NOC code...
I just did not run to the old organizations because i have close to 8yrs in mycurrent org.

One more question in the form where we describe our jobs we need to choose a month and year for start and end...so i wrote sep 06 to jul 14 because NA was not acceptable...and i filed it in jun...is this fine?

Yes, u r safe assuming company A experience is related to ur primary NOC.

Will appreciate if u clarify following for benefit of all

1. Do u have experience in any other company which provided experience letter including duties?
--> yup previous company which I worked they gave me just one letter of experience which included num of working hrs, salary,designation,and roles and responsibilities but again i dont have reference letter of both companies.
2. How reputable is ur company?
--> my present company is one the most leading telecom company in UAE which is semi govt.
3. Did u provide any supporting doc that the company does not provide duties and official JD?
--> nope just a cover letter and solemn affirmation. But I have included my contact copy, pay slips, salary certificate which includes my designation.
4. What was ur Job Title in the company? What i want to ascertain is that to what extent ur self declared job duties are supported by your Job Title?
Presently I am a manager... But when I applied i was a Team leader

Hi everyone, I am new at this forum and I saw the spreadsheet of all the people from this forum who have sent application for FSW is already at 1,400+ and counting which says that this forum is very active.
I am also planning to send my own application, however, I want to know if there is someone who have sent an application and got a file number from CIC even though their ECA shows that it is less than a Canadian equivalent for that occupation? (for example I want to apply as a Registered Nurse but my ECA from WES only says that my Bachelor's degree in Nursing is only equivalent to a Nursing Assistant and it is only a 2 year Diploma in Canada).
I would really appreciate if someone can help me with this.

For 2 yr diploma, you will get 19 points.

I got a reference letter(on bank letterhead) from bank showing average balance of last 6 months. Its just a black n white print out from their system showing these details including my name and date my account was opened.

There is no signature of any bank official and no stamp on the letter.. Will this be a valid POF (I will be attaching my 6 months statements also with this letter).

However, CIC website says:

"Starting in May 2013, all people applying under the Federal Skilled Worker Program (FSWP) must get an Educational Credential Assessment (ECA) of their completed foreign educational credentials.

If you are only submitting a Canadian educational credential, you do not need to do this.

An Educational Credential Assessment (ECA) is used to verify that your foreign degree, diploma, certificate (or other proof of your credential) is valid and equal to a completed credential in Canada.

You must have such an assessment if you:

are a principal applicant, and
got your education outside Canada.
Your education must be assessed against Canadian standards by one of the organizations designated by CIC (below).

When you apply as a federal skilled worker with a foreign educational credential, an original ECA report must:

be included with your application along with proof of your foreign credential,
be issued on or after the date the organization was designated by CIC,
not be more than five years old on the date that CIC gets your application, and
show your credential is equal to a completed Canadian one."

Which means that since I am applying as a Registered Nurse in Canada, my ECA should also say my Education is Equivalent to that of a Canadian Registered Nurse not a 2 year diploma (Nursing Assistant).

What do you/everyone think?

This sounds enough. Since you will be complementing the bank issued letter with 6 months of statements, you should be good.

I have another experience at my second company( present company ) which is less than a year.

2. Do u achieve 67 points, even if the experience in 1st company is ignored?
No I do not achieve 67 points if i exclude my 1st company experience

3. Whats the duration of your experience in 1st Company and whats ur total experience in applied NOC?
8+ years

4. How reputable is ur 1st company?
its a multi national american company Which has has a branch in canada as well

5. What was ur Job Title in 1st company? What i want to that to what extent ur self declared job duties are supported by your Job Title?.
