Thanks GMS.. Location is Columbus, OHIO, USA.. Its Holiday here today( Independence day) ..and no one is available until Monday.. All my friends who attended the test on the same day are able to see the results except me.. not sure what happened to my test.. This is going to be a long sleepless weekend for me.. :'( :'( :'( :'( :'(

Dear Vikram Singh,

We refer to your IELTS test of 21st June, 2014.

As part of the quality control procedures designed to protect the integrity and security of the IELTS test, test results are routinely analyzed before they are issued to candidates. Unfortunately, your result is still being processed so it has not been possible to analyze it yet. The analysis will be conducted when the processing of your result is completed. Test Report Forms will be issued on 11th July 2014.

Please note that it is specified in the declaration signed by candidates on the application form that there may be occasions when it is necessary to issue a result more than 13 days after the test. Please accept our apologies for this delay.

Dear All, This is just to make u cautious that Your Local Visa Office may check your LinkedIn , Facebook and Twitter Profile for background checking.


Usually most of the background checking responsibility is handed over to third parties which can includes employer verification/police clearance confirmation etc. So who have these Social website profiles are suggested to sync with ur application provided job designation (or "Make Invisible to Everyone" on privacy settings).

I have observed one Indian applicant (on 2012) whose Linkedin profile was indicating that he had worked on Law background but he is an Electrician under which he applied...

Later on he was asked for an interview by his Canadian Case officer...She behaved so rudely with the applicant for the mismatch between his application and LinkedIn profile.

As per applicant, he was actuaally an Electrician but he had taken law degree beside of this and practiced for this law activities.He have not declared his law degrees and jobs on his Schedule A background declaration form. Later he admitted his fault that he hid on his app.

The case officer was not satisfied what applicant declared on the interview....

That thread member have not updated his status later.

Thanks Vikram, So we are lucky ones to get into this quality control procedures.. Not sure what that means for us.. but I am worried that I now have to throw another $210 and register for next available test now to be on the safer side..Thanks again..

After mannnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnny attempts made for 2 weeks to get DD status, my banker today confirmed the news of my DD.
NOC : 2174
App. recd Date : 7-May-2014

DD encashed Date : 19-June-2014
ECAS Status : In-process
ECAS status changed date : 26-June-2014

But til now no PER receive yet...

Just wondering because, one post here in forum says that she receive PER and after 2-3 days , ECAS was updated to "in process".
