As a DD user, you can expect at least 30 (if not 40) applicants who will report DD charge and PER out of currently 53 outstanding DD. And I beleive, you will be one of them. ;D ;D

@ Century thanks for trying to keep my hope up..

I have been feverishly checking ECAS for an update .. which is honestly what is worrying me.

If for example within next two weeks I don't see any movement in ECAS .. my application is probably on its way home :)

That probably points to a very dysfunctional organization :)

[size=10pt][size=10pt][size=10pt][size=10pt][size=10pt]My birth certificate has full name of my father but only my first name and my mother's first name.
Similarly, my sister's birth certificate has full name of our father but only first name of her's and our mother's.

Should I include this in the cover letter? Stating something like that is the standard format in those years for Government, etc?

Hi Bro,

Add an affidavit...with all details. and an Explanation letter

In this part of the world, most of the international transactions were perfected with debit cards because the credit system have not been fully developed. This is no exceptional case! By the way, have you conducted sample poll to be sure and to have come to the conclusion that debit cards transactions are declined.

Did your friend find out if his card was enabled for international transactions? How much do you know about debit cards/credit card working mechanism? What is the difference between debit cards and credit cards? Please this is a public forum and information is key, when you are not sure of something don't come on here and spew it all over the place!

Your friend's case is an isolated case and by what you wrote, you couldn't have concluded that his application was rejected as a result of of his using a debit card.

Well i dont have to spend my effort on doing that poll, i follow what i am asked and i would recommend that to anyone who is not able to make up their mind. It is better to be that way rather than getting anxioty later.

My friend checked everything that he could to his bank and everything got confirmed he was good to go. But still...

If you said my friend's case is isolated and invalid, the how about ramgarhia's. We are not here for arguing such things, you are giving your recommendation as i do mine. Let's not focus too much on this. Btw congrats on your charged too!

Hi,
Moscow is your visa office. Warsaw has stopped accepting applications from Russians.

they have removed Russia from their list. You can check it under Visa and immigration section.

Best of Luck

thanks a lot.

Pls make a topic with facts only, who has been charged and when, updates from cio and so cause my mind is a mess now. I doubt my debit card now although I paid WES with that card and there wasn't any problem, I asked the bank to increase my limit to $1500 and told them that I expect payment. I doubt my experience letter cause it's like everyone's else even the ones that were rejected because of that. I'm 16th of June applicant and have a lot of time to wait and read. Patience is not my virtue :(

There is no mention of self-attestation anywhere in the application guide. Just sign wherever you are instructed to do so.

Then you are exceptional cases and IMHO, we should not take exceptional cases as a good way to go since we are not sure how the whole process works, we should follow exactly what we are requested. A friend of mine used Debit card, his application reached cio on May 6 and until now his card has not been charged. I would not risk mine.

And because you do not get caughted by breaking a rule does not make it a valid event.

WOW!!! "And because you do not get caught by breaking a rule does not make it a valid event... WORD!!! Wish I could give a +1 for you.
